This beer is one of the best ive ever had.. I live in Northren Oregon, we are fortunate enough to be able to get all of the finest beers from all over the world..In fact, we also have 33 micro brewerys, the most out of any city in the world currently.. One example is my good friends Roots Organic Brewing co, here in Portland.. Simply fantastic nectar..

Anyhow this beer I found today is from Eureka CA, and I must say it beats any of our beers here. COOLEST NAME EVER!! The best IPA ive ever had..what a fantastic beer!! Im going to drive down to eureka next week just to visit the brewery, and try to meet the brewmaster.. Is anyone here from N. CA familiar with this beer? and or the Lost Coast Brewery..

Nice find. If you're heading to California you should see if you can find a Karl Strauss brewer nearby. They produce a lot of fine ales, I was very surprised last time I was in California. Also, I doubt you'll be able to find it (seeing as how you're so far West) however Magic Hat and Long Trail are two brewers from Vermont, some of my favorite Microbrews.

Right on guys,,
Laxpunker, Thanks for the heads up on the Karl Strauss brewerery.. Also thoes Vermont microbrews sound great, Ive heard that there are some really good quality brews from New England..

Bacchus.. Im a huge fan of there Doggie Claws barley wine, and also Adam, and of course Rose (belgian tripple).. Ive never had the Blue Dot yet though, allthough Im only 20 minutes away, so I really should go try it.. You must be from PDX if you know about Hair of the Dog..
You should check out my buddys brewery .. Roots Organic Brewing over on, 1520 S.E. 7th (PDX), try the Pond Turtle Pale Ale, or the Woody I.P.A..

lol, that brewery is funny, they also have a less aalias 8ball variety. I found it humorous how it said indiCa. saw it first up in humboldt.

nothing compared to flying dog and dog fish head, though.
