not much purple action going on there...still looks like a nice chemdawg sour cross of some sorts. how is the fragrence..any of that pungent sweet granddaddy smell coming through?

Yes4Prop215 there is not a lot of purple going on... I had been holding out hope, but even with my purple lens glasses on, I think it's not going to happen for me this run...
Smell is hard to describe. It's pungent, but not sweet. It's not overpowering, but it's there... I'll try to put a finger on it over the next few days...

A little update:
getting closer... She is basically 60 days or so.... water only diet until the end.... real pleasure to grow. Not very demanding... perfect size for this run under the 400W. Buds are fantastic, dense, fragrant, sticky.. good stuff, imo.

i don't know for sure i think maybe its timeing and conditions might have a lil to do
with the purple, i had SBx4 pheno that turend a really nice purple and sweet candied
taste, it looked good for the first 2 runs, then after i cut and culled her i knew i FUCKED UP when i pulled out of the bag
, same thing happend to my lost DSD
lesson learned !

from KEN the" ROYAL GDP" all purple fruity sweet all purple candy
and the " KEN GDP " a mostly purp some green HOLY GRAIL of
mine, a sweet creamy purple with a amazeing skunk finsh !
F2s should be great, thats my plan with mine.

I'm also looking forward to a smoke report as well, got a couple of these going this round, have one confirmed female, one male and one that hasn't made up its mind yet.
Thought about grabbing the fem version (chem x gdp this time) but just could not justify almost 2 bills for being fem. Oh, well. Plan to make some f2's if I don't lose the male.

Scent: Is just starting to develop in the jars. Pleasant, yet pungent. NO mistaking when a jar has been opened. Fills the whole house. getting more defined as time passes. I have a hard time defining the smell, but it's awesome. Mouthwatering.
Flavor: Smooth. Very smooth on the intake, wonderful flavors... a floral flavor with some sweetness. No nasty smokey aftertaste.
Potency: Strong. Incredible pain relief. Relaxing.
The GDP samples indicate that this strain is going to be great for chronic pain sufferers like myself. A few hours without pain, nausea, and discomfort are a wonderful thing... and the GDP delivers without hesitation. Also thinking this one will be good for bouts of insomnia.... seemed to do the trick last night, but will need more testing....

This morning, it smells like lemons... fresh ones, like just picked in the garden fresh. It's delightful. Definitely getting better and better everyday in the jar.
Amber this is the "go to" stash for relief. I had to move it into the evening only category during the week, otherwise I would never get anything done....

is GDP a granddaddy purp S1?
These Granddoggy Purps that Billy grew out were regular seed, male and female (please correct me if I am wrong, Billy).
I have a couple of these in flower at the moment and they are full of grapey goodness, the slightest brush of the plant fills the air with a wonderful grape candy smell. Can't wait for them to finish.
Would pick up another pack if they are offered again.
You may also want to look at the Granddaddy Haze (GDPxSSSDH), should be another winner. Hope to try this one in the fall, myself.

Ambertrich is correct. These were the regular seeds offered. I only popped 3. (2 males / 1 female.)
GRAPE! That's awesome. My Sweetest Cindy is like grape kool-aid. It's fantastic.
I wish you hadn't said that though, sort of throws a wrench in the plans. Now have to consider popping some more.....
Oh, and now that it's been in the jar for a bit, it's freakin' awesome. Soooooo smooth. Incredible flavor. Amazing medicinal qualities. I highly recommend.

My mini version of a germination test on my GDP F2s..... 4 random seeds planted in containers outdoors. Just the beans in the dirt.... no special treatment ... 4 for 4
