Grandoggy Purp Fems Grow Show....

Hello all,
I thought I would start a grow journal on my 2 grandoggy purp fems that I just started. I bought both of these here through the Bay last year. Great service by the way. I grew these out once before but had to cut down early due to some security issues. With that being said they were great even coming down a little early. They were so frosty and dense with a little purple candy smell and the chem taste. Great two strains to put together guys great job. I wish I had taken pictures that round but I didn't so that's why I'm starting a grow journal this time. A little about my grow. I am running a 400w switchable ballast in a almost 3x3 grow area. I am growing with Canna Coco and all Canna nutrients. Hand watering to waste. I'm pretty new and still trying to figure out the whole coco thing but I'm starting to get the hang of it here lately. Just had an awesome grow of some Zoolanders Raspberry Kush Bx that turned out great. Now I'm back to the Grandoggies to do them some justice again but better this time. Here is a few pix from yesterday. We are almost at 2 weeks this weekend. Things should start taking off now I will try to udate weekly if I can, so on with the show. As always any and all questions or comments welcome. Peace and happy growing.

Alright it's been a couple weeks now and they are about at the 4 wk mark. They have really grown alot now that I see the other pix from 2 wks ago. Gotta love the coco. I'm getting ready to up pot them into 2 gal. nursery pots in this next week and then I plan to flip them in a couple more weeks while they get their feet into the new coco. They both are coming along really nice no problems so far. I took a few pix earlier today so here they are. Enjoy and happy growing

Thanks Mack. I decided to top these girls on Sunday. I usually don't top my plants but something about these just told me to do it so i did. It seems I always have the same problem of letting them get to big for my space so I'm trying for once to get on top of things and get a better canopy. I just did it on Sunday and they both look like they didn't miss a beat. I cut the tops and I am hoping to clone both plants for back up. If not I have a whole other pack to go through later so no biggie if not. The smell is starting to come on strong now looks like I'm going to need to get a new carbon filter soon. Any way here's a few shots from Tuesday two days after being topped. Peace and happy growing.

What's up everyone. Things are chugging along smoothly so far. Both plants are responding well after I cut the tops last week. I transplanted them into 2 gal. nursery pots on wednesday night and they are starting to take off now in the new coco. I plan on letting them go another week in the new pots to get their feet more settled in and them flip them after that. Does anyone know if they are heavy feeders or if they need any cal/mag or anything else? I seem to recall having a few issues last time but can't remember what is was and I didn't take pix last time around. As always questions, comments or anything else are welcome.Peace and happy growing .

Alright it's been a few weeks or so now and I have since turned the lights back 2 wks ago today. Both plants are starting to show nice little flowers forming so on with the show. I just snapped a few pictures today, sorry for the quality my camera sucks:moon:. So far everything has been running smooth. They both seem fairly similar but different in bud structure now that they are flowering. The one on the left side has more branching and seems to grow taller in veg. The one on the right has less branching and grew a little smaller in veg. With that being said the one on the right seems to have a little advantage in the flowering stage now with more bud structure and you can see a little frost on some of the leafs. The other one seems like its going to take longer in flower the bud structure seems a little smaller and no frost yet. I know its earyl but if it has it now it going to have a lot later . I'll try and get some better pictures next week with a new update. As always any and all comments, questions or anything else is welcome. Peace and happy growing.

are looking really good so far. Good luck with the grow OG

What's happening everyone. I been a little behind on posting this week so here are a few new pics from saturday that I took right before watering them. Now you can really see how much more the one on the right is frosting up compared to the other one. I going to show pics of the one on the left first. As you can see she is taller and has more side branching. This one also seems more nute sensitive. I see a little tip burn on her now. I have been feeding both plants the same thing since they werer born. The other one seems to be taking it in stride.

Ok now here is the one on the right. She is starting off to be the frostier of the 2 so far . This one stinks so bad, kinda like dank dog poo really pungent smelling. The other one doesn't have to much smell to me kinda pepper smelling a little. The other one over powers in the smell department. This one is on the shorter side, more compact and not stretching as much as the other . Also all pics are taken through Lumii sun glasses with my phones camera. They take most of the yellow out of the hps lights. I love them for the price and protection. I cant afford the M7 expensive ones yet so these work for now, they really help my eyes alot.

How is everyone this week. Well it been two weeks since I last took some pics even thought I just posted them last wednesday. I had given them both a dose of pk 13-14 last week and the plant on the left seemed to not like it very much. They have both started getting some canna boost also a couple weeks ago. I have a few leafs curliing upward on just a few on the plant on the left. They seem to be coming out of it now while the other one took it in stride with no problems at all. Both are starting to pack it on now a little in girth and frost. They both have different bud structure for sure as you can tell from the pics. Let's see if I can keep it healthy, this always seem to be where something starts happening in my grows some times depending on the strain. As always any and all comments, questions or anything at all is always welcome. Peace and happy growing...

And some more. I really wish you could post more than 5 at a time oh well it just take longer.

These are the plant on the left side. She is Taller, more branchy, smaller maybe denser buds and less frosty but catching up a little here lately. Smell wise I don't get much from her because the other one stinks so bad .

Looking good so far. I have been looking to get a pack of these because I want a nice purple pheno in stable. Are any of these purpling yet? In the pics they kinda look purplish if they are not purpling yet do you think you will get a nice purple pheno? Can't wait till these finish I want to see the finished product before I drop that kinda money on a pack even though i have heard that csg has great genetics.
