Grand Daddy Purple (Original) Grow Dairy

I've noticed 2 very different looking pheno's with these (Grand Daddy Purple Original).

I got 2 females from 4 regular beans i planted, they are now mothers and a year old. This will be my first run with her.

Pheno 1#

Taller statue.
Thinner leaves with more serrated edges sativa looking.
Bigger internodal distance.
Lower side branching.
Lighter coloured leaves (Lime).


Pheno 2#

Short Statue.
Broad Indica leaves with more roundness to the serrated edges.
Very short internodal distance.
Very stocky short side branching remaining close to the main stem.
Darker coloured leaves (Green with Purple/blue hints).




All cuttings taken from the 2 mothers, were taken at the same time ,from the same environment, with the same soil and feed schedule.

Nothing amazing going on yet, but they seem very happy, they also took the transplant well with no issues at all. Potted into 5.7 Litre pots with (BioBizz Light Mix).

Their just on plain old water for now, I will be adding (Canna - Rhizotonic) tomorrow.



I think another 7 days and i might send these off into flower. Hoping to hit some cold at them just in time for Christmas

Day 8 of flower, after being potted for 1 week Veg and then flowering for 8 days, she doesn't like anything over 550ppm at the moment, so i'm going to back off a little and continue with a few waterings with no food because some were showing slight Nitrogen Toxicity.

I'm sure she'll be more hungry in the coming weeks ahead!

Humidity: 40% - 55%

PPM 550 = EC1.1
PH - 6.2

Day 48, falling for this strain

Bud rot has set in on the dwarfed ones so looks like its coming down early 7 weeks i think the other pheno is ok not checked them yet so just going to process these GUTTED!

They smell very strong of Menthol with classic Big Bud skunk, almost like Vicks! LOL. Also with a faint under tone of a sweet grape smell. The other Pheno is still flowering, no rot with those girls

nice, I shall pop in for the ride. We got some GDP that should be done around the 16th of dec give or take. First time flowering her, and she is legit clone only as well. Can't wait to compare, I will get some pics for ya.
