Gram out Rosen

Very carefully, its sticky in your fingers…
Picked myself up a press a few weeks ago...making some fire. What I found works for me is to get quite a bit more than a gram on your tool..hehe, then place it on the bottom of your g container, press and twist and leave a nice big dab in the container. Twist helps get that DQ swirl on top and separates it from the rest of the material.

I take 20 to 30g wads and roll it between parchment to form what looks like a long tootsie roll. Then use a 1" wide putty knife to cut off pieces. Doesn't take long to be able to eye ball it pretty close. By warming the putty knife with a lighter, ( warm, not hot ) it slices right through and the Rosen slides right off. If it needs a little more to make weight, I pick some up with a dental pick tool and then warm the pick just above the blob and it drops off into the container.
Try doing it while it's really cold. Like eight out of the freezer. Some people work on a cold ceramic tile.
