Got some decent mexy today

taste-kind of a spicey, earthy smoke, left a bit of a cinnaman aftertaste.

smoke-surpisingly smooth, take a rip till it burns the throat alittle and end up blowing out a surprising big could, more than you would ever expect.

appearance- kind of small bud on a stick type look, looks compact but when broken up its very fluffy packed full of dark amber trichomes.

effects- a very up day-dreamy high, never got tired from it... had a 3 minute lauphing fit after being left by the gf ive had for 2 years for a way older guy....so definately has antidepressant effects.

price- 50 an ounce, 140 a qp and 300 a pound.... and i really like this bud so looks like im set.

Do you live in the south? We get decent commercial for the same price, sometimes as high as $80-100/oz if it's mids. People underestimate stuff that we get around here, they take a look at it and say 'meh'. Then they smoke it and say 'oohhhhh, ahhhhhh' We get our share of bullshit though...

ahh nothing like good mexi.. its cheap,and you dont feel guilty rolling a nice cigarello..i havent smoked a blunt in a long time.. all i can get is expensive kind bud,which sucks cause im a 20 yr old broke college student.i miss those 50 dollar ounces..lol.

Your description sounds sorta like what I've been getting lately, as well. Which is why I asked if you live in the south. Honestly, the stuff is good. I've smoked/grown/bought good stuff before, I know what good is. It's not really pretty, it may have some sticks and seeds, it might not be really fluffy, but what we've been getting lately is what I strongly believe to be Mexi and the quality is good potency/taste/high wise.

Edit: I smoked half of a cigarette-sized joint of the Mexi stuffed into my cigarette bat about 30 mins ago and I am flooooooatiiiiiing. I feel so energetic. I feel like cleaning the house, and I'm about to.

I used to be pretty fond of import weed. had it in bagies and bales and a couple sizes in between.

I even grew some of the seeds I had saved - it dosne't compare to quality raised specially bred genitics. But I kind of miss the ol take a fist full of doobies daze days.

Last weekend i got a quarter ounce of some midi's. It was suprisingly good and had a suprisingly spicy sort of nugget taste. I have to admit i was sort of impressed. 40/quarter, but it was a stone that was the same as, possibly a little more desireable than the typical $50 beaster buds.

Gonna try and get me a half ounce if i can tomorrow.

But shit! if you can get a 300 lb, get that and be set for the winter and probably longer.... Wont find that price up here.

captkirk- i am mostly self-sufficient in my smoking but i dont hate on QUALITY mexican everytime i run out. as for bagseeds sucking, it depends what you get. there are a lot of variables in bagseeds.

i grew out a landrace oaxacan sativa that was the strongest pot i have ever smoked. its why i am so into growing as many strains as i can. i want to find something similar again. it seriously made several of my friends and family members throw up from smoking it. that shit had you floating out of your head!

you just need to try a good, homegrown mexican landrace. as long as you dont harvest early, press it, and cure it in a tire, you will be pleasantly surprised.

CaptainKirk - The thread was obviously going to be about bagged goods. Not all of us can grow enough to where we won't ever have to buy again due to height/security/etc reasons. We know you can growwell, we know alot of people here can grow well. Doesn't mean you have to go flaunting it in a thread about something that is coming from over the border. And like others and I have said already, not all bagged stuff is bad. It was probably great when it was harvested, and depending on how well it was taken care of before it got to our hands is basically what your end product is going to be. It can be great, it can be the shittiest of shit.
