K so I got ripped... first real outdoor grow.... my big spot got ripped compromised.... so..... no weed.... no time to run again.... or is there????

Hopin to finish something outdoors... popped 29ish of my unkown mixed seeds, white og hybrids, northern hindu hybrids and f2s, sour jack hybrids, silvet skunk f2s... list goes on....

Anyway... plan is swamp grow.... pots will be plastic drainage tubes from home depot... 6 inch.... cut to length. Triple or quadtupled up to stand better with a strong stake hammered into the swamp ground.... shit sounds like a lot of work.....

Feed is high phos bat guano in a promix perlite lime mix. By the time the organics activate and plants are in yhe plants will be flowering...

Will I pull it off??? Im not even sure haha...

Gotcha damn that sucks im afraid of mountain lions in my region ...I think that mountain in front of lion tends to soften the fear for most but it's still a lion. I have to start camping out there next month not looking forward to it. Sour you have bear mace?

I use a desert eagle .50 for bear mace, lion mace, etc.

Sourpuss man that sucks I'm so sorry to hear of your loss to those scumbags. Hopefully you get a good pull from your photos!

Best vibes for your season buddy!

Sucks being ripped, I had 4/5 plots ripped last season. Gotta do better with my plot selection. Also wrong method of growing for those particular locations. Your spot dictates the way you grow.

From experience of carrying loads out into the swamp... try to skip the promix as it will be heavy as fuck after dealing w the mud ... I ran 5kg coco blocks plus leaf mold but coco made up 80% of the mix just due to weight and how deep I had to go... first set was few hundred meters in... and I spread em far out.

Live and learn from mistakes ... find out what you did wrong that got your spot compromised and don't do it again.

Yeah I'm gonna go with ammendments instead of hauling a mix and aim for smaller plants, allowing less notes and little to no water

Are you planting close to hiking trails, fishing areas, hunting land or other traffic areas?
If not, what type of area are you planting at?
Four out of five rips seem way too high.

I knew a guy that would wear a Carthartt Duck coveralls, crawl into pricker patch (or other incredibly dense foliage), clear area inside and put his garden there. A lot of work, but no rippers.

i agree 4/5 is super high! i love growing in those pricker patches. they have several purpose's as well. u can use them to tie onto with twine/plastic plant tape, they offer wind protection as well as protection from big game animals biting them and they blend in perfect for camo from rippers and the pigs in the air. u just cant go wrong with a nice big fat pricker bush

The key to not getting ripped is site access. It's either someone stumbled upon it like a hunter, so choose a spot with no hunting and that is in a location that absolutely no one would ever have any reason to be in. If you can get in and out of the spot without you or your vehicle being seen, you won't be ripped. I personally know how the rippers around here find grows and they don't just wander around through the bush hoping to get lucky. They look for shit like an abdanded car on the side of a side road. So many people park right next to or very close to their grow. So stupid. Not saying that's what you did just saying :) sucks you got ripped brother. Been there. All one can do is find a new spot for next year!

Most rips are one of two things, blind luck, or someone you know.

The first one you can't stop from happening again, the second you can.

Game cameras, set one up on the approach to the old grow, and one at the actual site, plant just a couple plants as bait during the next season, and identify the fucks.

Then you deal with them as local customs dictate.

Where I'm from there are very few public places that you can confidently say that no one goes. Trails are the biggest giveaway! People follow the path of least resistance, so if you've made a trail to your site then anyone travelling in the vicinity will almost certainly follow yours too, I know because I've done this myself and found numerous grows. The entrance to your trail is the most important imo.
