That sux - I've heard good things about their stuff, maybe you just got the one made by a worker who was pissed at their ex & having a bad day?

Not to make fun - $500+ is no chump change.

I'd try again, see if they can't cut you a break - never hurts to ask (a few times), just be polite but firm.

Good luck.

The 500 quote really suprised me and should have asked if they are making in China and I would bet the zipper is made in China he said to call a zipper man to come and repair lol don't think that's going to happen maybe I should have bought a Jardin tent oh well you live and learn

I have a Jardin tent and even after all the abuse I've done to it, running it constantly for 8+ years, it still hasn't had any problems. I was thinking about upsizing to a 4x8 and was thinking about going with a gorilla tent.....maybe I might wanna stick with what I know! Lol

I believe I would stick with the jardin I heard their customer support is good can't same the same about gorilla and you would think with the problems they are having with zippers they would have a fix or better take care of current customer 500 was crazy will not buy another for the price it's a good tent but not the best imo and customer support is a joke

Man that sucks! I was thinking about buying a gorilla tent... I have a couple jardins that I've had no problems with, I just like the the idea of the expansion top thing gorilla has.

You can get a sewing tool called a sew awl, harbor freight has them but they are shit, however it will work just takes longer and pliers and gloves help. The good ones have sharp needles and are made for heavy leather, tent repairs, reins, saddles...
