Oh man, this really sucks. My uncle had kidney cancer for the past tw years, and even though it took it's toll on him healthwise, it seemed everything was going to be ok.
Three weeks ago he lost all his motor functions, and when they docs were all done poking and prodding, they found ten growths on his brain, causing massive pressure. They did a crazy amount of rediation immediately, and luckily he was able to regain most of his speech back. He even was able to play the guitar for a few days, which I know made him extremely happy.
Well, on Monday, the inevitable happened. Uncle K had a DNR, and had not eaten or taken any fluids in about4-5 days, and he passed. He was surrounded by family and friends, and even though he could not tell us, we all know that he went peacefully.
It just sucks, because he has a ten year old daughter, whom him and his wife had after like 15 years of trying to have kids, who now is not gonna have a dad. And, because my uncle had a kidney transplant like 15 years ago, he was never able to get life insurance.
Anyways, just wanted to share that with all of you, and ask to just say a prayer, or send some vibes this way. Greatly appreciate it.
