Anybody who loves monster movies should know Ray Harryhausen, and if not they certainly know his monsters (except maybe the youngsters on the board). He just died...Thanks for the monsters Ray!

Clash of the Titans was a watershed moment for me in my life. Loves me some Harryhausen, I agree he was definitely a class act and a great paragon of filmaking special effects. Rest in peace Mr Harryhausen...

Jason and the Argonauts is still an amazing movie to watch to this day. He set the mark for special effects that couldn't be duplicated until CGI came along. A true master.
