Good soil with Fox Farms Nutes

Was going to get OF or HP from Fox Farms but it seems these both are pretty hot and I don't wanna burn my plants.

Hi,

I've done a 100% mix with OF with 2 inch clones and they were fine IMHO. I've also been advised to.... put a layer of basic soil (about 30% of the top layer down) then the lower 70% super soil to make the roots stretch for the nutrients in the soil. Last time it was er local super soil mix with basic soil mixed in. About a 3 basic to 1 super soil mixture.
Lemme tell you all organic = Best Bud ever

Did you add any nutrients to the plant feed during the veg or flowering stage?

I love 2 parts OF and 1 part roots organic you don't need to add perlite and it makes it less "hot'.I've never had a problem with straight OF with seedlings/clones before,I just like the mix

Well...........I did one time, but prefer not being that it is rich already.
I prefer K.I.S.S where you should only have to add water.
Save the money and let the plant show what it is minus the roids

when doing soil i mix 50/50 FFOF and Light Warrior for new clones, and then go into straight ocean forest usually water only for my OG strains, they are light feeders....heavier feeders i give 1/2 dose earth juice VEG + Bloom + Micro + molassas 2 or 3 times during flowering or else yellow out too early

Both are very good soils.. I like happy frog a lot.. Happy frog with nectar for the gods
