I have completly lined my growspace in my attic with black lightproof plastic and i want to line the inside with some cheap reflective material. I was looking at lowes for some white plastic but all they had was clear and i dont have the time or money to buy mylar. What are some good, cheap alternatives??

Note:This space cannot be painted..

Go to K-mart or Wal-mart ,,,and head to the camping section...there you will find "emergency blankets" cheap in small package .2 should be enough for a decent size cab ..but hell, buy 100 of em cause there cheap//

I did the space blanket thing for awhile,
Worked great but the stuff is loud once you put a fan near it!

Drove me nuts! JS

Dow Corning SuperTuff R.
Get it 4x8 sheets in the building section at Lowes, Home De Pot, etc...
It provides a brushed aluminum side that reflects as well as anything, keeps the heat in the cab, and soundproofs as well. Great stuff, and very easy to work with. Just a score with a sharp knife on one side, and you can snap it off very sharp, clean, and tidy.
The whole sheet probably weighs 2-3 lbs.

Or, if you live near a boat marina, they winter wrap all the boats in heavy white plastic that they throw out by the yards in the spring - i love re-cycle!

You can get this stuff I have at home depot named reflectix, It looks like bubble wrap for tinfoil, it reflects 99 % of light, I got like 4 x 20 feet for like 20 odd bucks
