Golden Tiger questions.......

Hello!
Just made my first ACE buy, 2pks. GT.

I am currently smoking SSH, SSSDH, Mango Haze.
How does the potency of GT compare to these?

How well do these do indoors, 600w vertical? I have had no issues growing the above Hazes.

Also, is the male used Cannabiogen's Destroyer, or something else?

I think the male used was a parental line of Destroyer. I'd bet money that they will do just fine in your set up. Can't help on the potency thing, I've only smoked the SSH.

the male used was meao thai... destroyer is 90% meao thai

Not sure what to say ... im not much into dutch haze hybrids lately, i like them a lot and i smoked lots of jack herer, kali mist, ssh... 15 years ago but not now ... i found Jack Herer to be a very hazy smelling in a skunk shaped plant, very nice plant, high is overpowering but not my taste. Kali mist has a more sativa look, growing tall with long branches, it's quite variable but there are very special phenos. She's my favourite dutch haze type! I have grown and smoked different SSH clones (but never from seed) and they were mostrly NL X Thai expressions. Quite good and high yielding.

If you grow them correctly im sure you'll find your Golden Tiger plants, very powerful and completly different to the haze hybrids. The best way to grow her from seed and get the max. yield is doing a vertical grow. 600 w/ for 1-1,2 m2 is enough. But remember ... Golden Tiger is a pure sativa hybrid and all this haze hybrids are aprox. 60 % sativa-haze/ 40 % skunk-nl-indica.

Golden Tiger's father is the pure thai, but Golden Tiger is not a Destroyer hybrid although would be great a cross between both

The GT is as potent and perhaps a bit stronger IMHO. That being said, they are completely different HIGHS. The SSH I have always found to have an edge to it, especially if over indulged. It makes me alert, energetic, but with a feeling of anticipation or anxiety that is not 'BIG SMILE' style.

In contrast I find the GT very 'Big Smile' or Irie if you prefer. You can certainly over indulge but the over powering high just makes you smile harder but leaves you stationary due to impaired motor skills There is not edge, anxiety, or anything negative about the experience...just plain HIGH.

Im glad to know you found Golden Tiger stronger than all this awarded haze hybrids. I must say Golden Tiger is a bit more difficult to grow indoors than most dutch haze x indica or dutch haze x skunk hybrids (except the haze extreme expressions) but golden tiger high, personality, aromas are completly different. The high has not an anxious nature but it could be too deep for some smokers with low tolerance or not used to this kind of strong sativa effects .....

I puff big fat joints of SSH and Mango Haze all day......
It is excellent herb, but I'm not totally into the hazy taste.
I tend to prefer citrus,flowery,sour family of flavors.

Then you'll like Golden Tiger aromas ... not incensey like haze, it's more citric, oily, sour kind of aroma
