Went to order a pack and saw the option of Fem or Reg.

That sort of depends. Some of Ace's stuff is stronger in fems. Some brands of seeds used to be weaker in Female seeds but today they are all pretty close. If you chose Regular seeds normally there is a 50% ratio of males that you have to throw away. You also need to be good at pre-sexing. Anyway you need to start twice as many seeds. If you are an ultra purist you might chose Regular. I like Fems because you can grow out the exact number of plants you have seeds for and don't waste nutes, water or time.
we have grown regular GT, and while the weed was 'ok', def not the electric/mind bending weed we have been searching for... maybe the fem is better...
All I know is out of all the Ace gear I have ran. Oldtimer's Haze is the best by far next to Malawi. My holy grail for sure, makes me float and feel as if everything is so peaceful and pure happiness with smiles.

It's not so confusing. Golden Tiger fem was bred using Double Thai while Golden Tiger standard has only one thai. Thank you very much vinrusso for your help, perfect explanation
We have updated both Golden Tiger descriptions at our website this year to make this difference clear.
Golden Tiger Standard -> The standard version of Golden Tiger has stronger Malawi influence, contains only one Thai strain (Hmong/Meo) and the flowering is slightly shorter than the feminized version.
Golden Tiger Feminized -> The feminized version of Golden Tiger has stronger Thai influence, is better yielding and has more refined aromas than the standard version, but the flowering time is slightly longer.
Concretely, Golden Tiger feminized contains 2 Thai strains (Koh Chang Thai and Hmong Thai), and 2 different Malawi parental plants: the old killer Malawi and the 3rd generation new Malawi killer.

Nodestar's quote of Dubi is spot on. Unusually for a Seed Co we actually get an honest answer and an interesting choice. I am not sure what happened to zachrockbadenof with his GT, but IME, it's a fantastic strain, my fave ACE strain so far (outdoor) and happy to say, also available in local club here.
