Last night I played my first match for my local veterans team. I sensibly ate at the right time, hydrated correctly all day then decided to have a big golden tiger doobie. After about 10 minutes, this seemed like a terrible error (not getting lean, but getting too lean).
During the warm up (in goal as I don't do running), things went ok, I almost looked like a keeper. The match started and some hopeless buffoonery ensued. 2-0 down after 10 minutes.
However, the golden tiger did its thing, concentration was enhanced, lots of diving and just general on it-ness, I had a really good game. I'm going to try the same again for the next match, in the name of science of course but I'm sure it is performance enhancing for me.
Anyone else got a strain that is good for sport?
