Gold leaf strain from ILGM seeds?

Hey has anyone tried this one, didn't know if it was bunk or not. Sorry if this question is in wrong place.

I was about to order it and saw reviews that raved about it. I can't find it on Leafly or anywhere else for that matter.

I really can't afford to just throw cash away, tough runs last 6 months.
I had been successfully running Snow Cap for last 5 yrs and lost it. Tried clones from friends and both sets failed at the end. Like I'm starting from square one learning new.

I can get SD clones but seems like everyone and their dog have that one. I'm trying to stand out a lil bit.

Medium: Soil ff Ocean
Indoor 4k mh/hps per room
fertz: supernatural terra line, top feed drip
environmental: A/C and Dehu, Co2 Green Air controllers.
Passive air intake, the A/C is new to me. May go sealed room.
2x: 12x12x8'H rooms.

Lost last set to heat of Summer.

Any advice on that strain would be greatly appreciated.

Side note: New set of teens from clones clean healthy include
Fire OG, Train Wreck, Purple Gorilla, Afghan Bullrider,
was hoping to pick a favorite pheno from that set and mono crop later. However these are pretty common, and flooding local.

Not sure about the gold leaf strain, but I would hang on to that afghani bullrider for a while. Give her a few runs before you decide to dump it. She's everything I could ever ask for...

I have been told that by a couple others. I know I didn't do her right, hot and bugs. Was told though she's pretty special. Planned on trying 4 this run to see how it goes.

Curious though from your experience, flavor, nose, yield, dense and sticky? My understanding is it's a 64 day strain. If done right is top shelf.

Is that a heavy feeder? Anyway thanks for your comment and heads up. I feel a bit better now.

I did a long search last night and found tons on AB. Gonna pass on the Gold Leaf for now and get a bunch of cuts of AB going for a mono crop. Can't wait to try it done right. BTW research showed 25%+ thc, high cbd, dense nugs under MH, dank and full of trichs, very heavy yield. Couldn't find anything on mold/pest resistance. I will say I had wpm and mites last try,(cuts were from outdoor.) Added fans 1 per light, sulfur burner for wpm in veg and green cure. Fixed it.

If you're having trouble keeping it cool, drop some wattage for your space maybe (?)
I dont have a piped cooling system or glass or anything so I just run a thousand per room...

Bug problems are hell too of course... I had best results raising brix with mineralized living soil and staying away from bottled nutrients and repelling bugs that way...

Best of luck on your new efforts man. The trainwreck is really extra smelly! Also cant stand up on her own whatsoever so get the string ready...

Thanks yep they all pretty much laid down this last set. TW actually did better than the others, was told that is a rare pheno. The Fire OG for sure laid down like a mop but had dense ones all the way to the base and covered with trichs. Couldn't believe how swollen the calyx's get with that one.

Wish I would have kept that snow cap I knew it inside and out hands down. Starting over like this makes me feel like a newb. Funny I used to think I was a bad ass at this, truly humbled now.

I will admit this though, mastering one method relating to only one strain is a sign of someone who don't know diddly.

You guys that have figured out how to go wet are a cut above, and high brix organics class all on it's own.

I never visited a forum like this, I already knew it all (so I thought.) Then my state went legal and now know if you don't keep up you get run over.

I figure the first step is to get over ones pride, then research till your sick of it. Take notes and try to ask questions. So please don't get upset if I dig up some old threads with new questions. Thanks to all.
