I just found out I have to have major surgery done.
I go to the surgeon June 4th. To schedule it and for pre-exam.
I'm a little freaked out right now. I guess I'm afraid I won't wake up.
the only thing we have to fear is fear itself...when its your time to go you will...scared or not..on a table or in a car or maybe even opening your kind bud jar...peace my friend have no worries
i felt the same way before my surgery. once they give u that shot u got about 1 minute before u wake up and everythings over.besides even if u dont wake up you'll never know.
I went through pretty much the same fears over the last couple weeks, i had back surgery last week, and it went fine. the last thing i really remember was the anesthesiologist telling me to count back. You will be fine, and prolly shot up with demerol, dilaudid, or morphine afterwards. Good luck and positive vibes your way.
Good luck and dont worry surgery is so common place now.. I had 2 surgerys for cancer in my chest and dont remember a thing about it, except I feel much better now..
So will you after its done....
Much Thanks everyone for the positive vibes. I have a real bad phobia when it comes to Hospitals. Too many people I know checked in and never checked out. My woman's freaking on me to. God willing, I hope I make it thru.
+vibes for sure bro. Don't be too worried, anesthesia has come a long way. Its actually quite peaceful and when you wake up it'll feel like a minute has gone by like others have said.
