Going on vacation

I am going to Poland this summer and i expect to stay for 1 month. I am kind of worried about bringing anything on the flight with me. I heard that hiding it in a jar of peanut butter works to cover up the smell, and the sniffer dogs will smell peanut butter, instead of whats inside. So i'm thinking about hiding it in a jar of peanut butter to conceal the smell and stick it in my carry-on luggage. that'll probably be enough to last a few days.

but once i get there i will be staying in krakow, poland and i have no idea if i can score some there. I heard that the Russian mafia runs all the business there, and that kind of worries me. any good advice?

I dont know if I would stick it in a jar of peanut butter because of going through the xray machine. dont you think that would bring up suspicion? why would you bring peanut butter on a trip? I would put it in a bottle of shampoo...if you wanna risk it at all.

I take it you havent flown in a while. Unless your PB jar comes in a size less than 3 ounces you wont be taking it carry on.

Safest place to carry is the last places their allowed to search. Luggage is the first. Imo flying with a peanut butter jar of any size is suspicious.

The most I flew with was three ounces, domestic flight into cali's john wayne airport near LA. It was vacuum sealed and wrapped around my torso with an ace bandage. This was prior to 9/11 but I still didnt have any problems. I fly with weed everytime I fly but its always domestic, and its always on my person, the last place they are allowed to search.

yes i'll have a nice big shot of vodka when i get too stressed out to function, then i will pass out and not have to feel that way until i wake up with a hangover.
and when im not getting drunk i will just have to put up with living in this constant state of uptightness and worry.

thanks for the wonderful advice... i already decided that it is too dangerous to try and smuggle pot on the flight. so i wont bring it... i will just give it up completely while i'm there and have some waiting for me at home.

and your right about the vodka...if i'm drunk i won't be worrying all the time, i won't be constantly stressed out...i'll just be sleeping...passed out from the liquor, and i won't have to put up with any of that...

if anyone has any ideas where to look when i'm there i'd be happy to hear them.

i still have a while before i go....so i'm using that time to try and come up with the best possible solution

i'm starting to wonder myself if they even have it in poland. and if they do where do i look?

just because its everywhere in holland and other european countries doesn't mean thats the case in poland. or is it? i have no idea.

i don't fly with weed. i did fly once with a bit of hash in my pockets but wouldn't advise it as if you're unlucky and they have dogs in the airport you are fucked

the safest bet is to swallow it. you can carry quite a lot of hash that way. but i assume you fly from the american continent so it's quite a long flight, might be not so nice

though a friend of mine came from marocco with 400g of hash in his stomach and cos he fucked up the schedule he had to carry it inside for 3 days. not a pleasant thing he assured me

of course there is weed in poland! did you check the polish formu on this site? (i know you already did) quite a big one isn't it?

we don't have much of a weed culture and it's not very easy to score some and the quality is often shit and it's illegal even to possess 1 gram BUT krakow is a major tourist destination and you are bound to be able to buy something. that shouldn't be a problem (the problem might be quality. tourists buy anything they are offered it seems). i never bought weed in krakow so i can't give you any exact advice or phone numbers
just keep your eyes open and you will find a dealer. or just ask other backpackers and random people with dreadlocks (preferably locals)
you know... the usual routine

you won't contact a dealer via pm, but we are all brothers and sisters in crime and if you are lucky (dunno who from the polish forum is from krakow) you will contact a grower who will share some top quality weed with you. worth a try i'd say. you wouldn't be the first one to succeed. some of us are a bit more paranoid than others, but i think you stand a chance
