Going for the strongest hybrid

After years working with sativas and indicas separately, now I want to experiment to create a hybrid with the best characteristics a hybrid must have:

-Big production
-Fast maturation
-Mixed effect and very strong. Body numb and inability to concentrate.
-Nice taste and flavor
-Hybrid vigor

To achieve that, I'm going to use parentals as different as I can. I plan to use Taskenti for the Indica side of the cross, and for the sativa side I will use some really strong sativa-leaning commercial hybrid. I'm not using a real pure sativa because I don't think it will make things better in effect, production nor taste. So I will use a Jack Herer that's very nice and a Super Silver Sour Diesel Haze that is very good also and very strong, but slower.

Jack Herer is very homogeneous when delivering genes, I already know this plant well and know what to expect in the progenie. I expect SSSDH to behave in a similar way.

I'd like to follow DJ Short's advice to use pollen from a sativa to pollinate a indica female. But for that I'd have to STS and make my clones make pollen, and this is a step I'll do in some months, not now.

So for the first step I'll just pollinate both Jack Herer and SSSDH with pollen from the best males from the best generation of Taskenti seeds I've made, and I'll grow the seeds I make. Depending on the result I'll make different resolutions. My only fear is the smell or flavour being weak or unatractive, because I am sure the effect and production will be good.

What do you think?

To get the kind of explosive hybrid vigor you're after, might be good to use inbred lines on both sides of the cross. Taskenti already fits this bill, but the sativa side could be something like c99, which is pretty inbred. S*****'s jack would be worth a shot as well, or there's an IBL mango haze line that's kicking around somewhere, if you can find it.

Tom hill haze could be a good candidate for the sativa, that is fairly inbred isn’t it?
It has performed well in every cross i've made and tested so far.
Interesting project, I wish you good luck.

edit- Maybe not, I passed over the fast maturation part of the initial goals.

Hope you find something great, I have been doing mostly sativas lately but grew out a glue cross last year and am loving it. This year I think I will stay in the middle ground. Weed that tastes good, yields well, finishes quick is mighty appealing if you can find a nice high to go with it.

With a similar logic I gave a go to some of my pollen chucking trials, mostly it's about sativa F1 x indica F1 polyhybrid lines. The first I'm trying right now is also using Taskenti for the indica side.
This is "Line 1" - (Panama x Malawi) x (Taskenti x Satori)

The future "Lines" will consist of a similar formula, some will have more IBL parents for less variation.
A few that come to mind for this future project are Panama x Jack, BubbaHash x TomHillHaze and others.
One of the hybrids I have some serious hope for being "devastating" is Karma's AmnesiaOG, one of my potential parents for the "Lines" experiment.

My suggestion to Carraxe would be to try the Aunt of Farouk from pakistan, the line is slow growing but very potent and fragrant, however needs some hybrid vigor to be more appreciated and popular.

Interesting thread by the way ;)

Cheers

I think that thh or mango haze would make it more heady and clear. but I think that Caraxe wants it more heavy and dirty. sssdh is not inbred line but polyhybrid, so I suggest to replace it with more tasty haze hybrid like ghostrainhaze, highly recommended and my second tip is poochie love: " A 12 week flower time shines through owing to her likely Columbian/Punta Roja Red Heritage from equatorial sativas. Thin leaves, beautiful large trichome heads and a stretchy dominating stature in the grow room. She wants all the lights and isn’t afraid to take it. Her aroma is dark dank sweet haze emanating through a cloak of tropical mystical fruit punch funk with a potency that is unrivaled." its mix of og kush and eletric boogaloo. please notice that ogkush is great breeding tool, as well as skunk or northern lights present in jack. with these you dont have to worry about intensity of aroma. cheers.

Yes, I believe "dirty" is a proper word for what I mean. A hybrid must be dirty. Sativas and Indicas are different, brainy or physical. But for a hybrid, dirty is the way

Been looking at killer orange s1's from rgs and Somali ghost train for potent af sativa hybrids, or ghost train haze. Indica candidates would be a tested glue strain (ie gg#4), Bruce Banner, ghost og or a ghost og indica cross like banana kush. The Somali ghost train, ghost train haze and killer orange might be the right level of sativa edge, but Malawi from ace, golden tiger, killer A5 haze, or other ACE seeds Malawi crosses will lend their high THC production as well and aren't as long flowering as a pure haze. Just my 2cents, been doing a lot of strain research last couple days and have more of an extensive list of very strong strains to start. Here's a fun one, look up ghostly glue on st rainly

I have to say that I haven't started with this project yet. I've been busy with the sativas selection. Right now I believe the easiest way is to work with STS and use two of the best commercial cuts, like SSSDH, Black Domina, Taskenti and Jack Herer.

A lot of combinations and a lot of work, but good results for sure in not a long time.

Sweet smokes
