going camping with grandaddy ,purple kush and grapefruit diesel

welcome to my new grow ill be running purple kush, grandaddy purple, and grapefruit diesel 8 of each 24 total all clones .i will be using my new secret jardin darkroom 150 grow tent its 4'11 by 4'11 .right now there vegging under three four foot 4 bulb t5s. i will be flowering under a 1000 watt air cooled hps after i veg for about a month.im using ocean forest soil and plan on using 3 gallon buckets hopefully they all fit.ill have 2 6inch inline fans one for just the light and the other hooked to a carbon filter.any advice would be appreciated as far as strains or experience growing in this tent heres some pics just started lst so there all tied down.

heres an update of my grow .looks like i have a little nitrogen deficiency and a couple plants look unhealthy .i had 24 plants i realized the most i could fit in the tent is 19 three gallon buckets and that would be cramming them so 16 will be the final count so ive axed 4 plants all ready and 4 more need to go its just like marijuana "american idol" maybe i can get paula abdul to be a judge since shes a dopehead.any ways heres some pics .

ok finally flippin to 12/12 diarys kinda boring without bud shots .on day 7 now and everythings doin good.

this is how i got my portable a/c hooked up to the tent on the inside got it taped up .
nice cool air comes in keeping the tent in the low 70s during lights on

got two seperate fans for light and carbon filter .dont buy htg growbright inline fan there fn loud,




and heres the plants doin good

ok got an update its now day 16 of flower and everything is doin good .the tent is jam packed and now kinda wish i only had 16 plants but couldnt make myself destroy 4 plants.flowers are showing everywhere and purple kush is forming crystals..


wall to wall plants hopefully turn to wall to wall buds

grapefruit diesel 7 tops all fighting for the top spot

grandaddy purple.

a 6" to cool the light might be overkill (just letting you know if you havent already bought it). But cooler is better.

its day 21 and was happy when i opened my tent .the flowers are really taking off i fed them fox farms beasty blooms yesterday and noticed a big difference today .so heres some pics of a grapefruit diesel.

ok its day 27 and ill keep updating till the end even though not many post in the thread.its getting close to the end of summer so hopefully the hot temps outside cool down so my a/c wont have to run all day .i have had 2 electric bills come so far during this grow the first one was mostly during veg with 24hr lites on so a/c ran 24 hrs also.my equipment was 3 4ft 4 bulb t5s and the a/c which is 900 watts the electric bill was 350 dollars ,i would say about 80 of it was from my usual use around the house.and my second bill came today it was 260 bucks ,my equipment is a 1000 watt hps on 12 hrs, a/c on 13hrs ,3 6inch inline fans on 13 hrs .and i would say 80 of it was regular house use.anyways just some info for anyone to see.and heres some pics.

ok heres an update day 39 ,took these right as the hps turned off .doin one more feeding then water and mollasses till the end.i plan on taking them all to 60 days .the kush and the grand daddy have alot of small dense buds and the gf diesel has bigger fluffier buds.

the grandaddy and kush are starting to purple up

Great looking grow, very strong looking plants. Could you elaborate a little on how the fans are secured?

Is the scrubber fan attached directly to the scrubber or is it further down the line?

How about the fan attached to the top of the tent? how is that unit supported?

I don't have any experience with carbon scrubbing yet as odor control was never much of a concern for me but I will certainly do my research.

the scrubber has about 2 feet of flexible duct that goes to to my inline fan ,that inline fan isnt in the tent it is sitting on the roof of the tent outside ,just sit the fan right on top of the exhaust hole it fits perfectly and needs no securing that fan is an elicent 6 inch .the other fan is for the light you can see in post# 3 i use the straps that came with the tent to secure it that is a soler and palau fan and had that bracket on it when i bought it so it was easy to just tie it to the roof support beams that comes with the tent

Premium. I'm sure once I get the Dark Room set up I'll have a better idea about the fan/roof/vent interaction.

Thanks for giving me the details on the strapped fan, barely noticed it in the picture until you pointed it out. Very neat install.

how are you controlling the a/c cycling on and off if the a/c is on the outside of the tent and the thermostat resides in the a/c housing?
