Mixing Instructions for Soil
Before you can apply GoGnats to the soil as a drench, you must first dilute it with water at rate of 2 fluid ounces for every 1 gallon of water used. Use a clean bucket to thoroughly mix the GoGnats with the water for several seconds. If using you're the pesticide as a perimeter spray, increase the GoGnats to 2.6 fluid ounces per 1 gallon of water and transfer to a clean pump sprayer. This will make applying the barrier spray on the ground around the area easier.
Application Directions for Soil
Once you have diluted the GoGnats pesticide with water, pour the solution over the soil until the soil is damp. Reapply twice during the first week of treatment and then repeat at two-week intervals. Once the infestation is under control, reduce the mixing ratio to 1 teaspoon per 1 gallon and apply every two weeks. If you're using GoGnats as a perimeter spray, pour the mixture into a pump spray and thoroughly drench the perimeter. Repeat the process twice in the first week and reapply at two-week intervals.

IMHO since you are in soil you should just put a layer of diatomaceous earth on top of your soil to combat fungus gnats

DE is a fools way to kill bugs ...see it as millions of tiny razor blades, scratching at your lungs with every toke, you won't even know you're dying until you drown in your own blood ...cough cough!

DE is OK for veggie use, avoid with canna if you intend to inhale them buds ..later

DE doesn't work when wet. I would test your GoGnats regime on a couple of expendable plants. Good luck. -granger

Gognats is smelly and kinda messy.

I would use mosquito dunks or the newer mosquito bits.

Sprinkle a layer over each container as preventative or control.

Kills and controls within 24 hours.

A root drench of azamax is also beneficial when using the mosquito bits method.
