glycerine?

I have bought kava kava at health stores that was in glycerine. It was maple flavored and wonderful. I was wondering if anyone knows if THC binds with glycerine like fat?

Most tinctures at the health store are alchohol based. I know you can soak ganja in alchohol and it releases THC into the alchol without applying heat. Does the same work with the glycerine?

I have heard of using food grade glycerin for tinctures (haven't tried it yet). I beleive they submerge the jar into hot water for a short period of time after the 60 days of the cannabis being in glycerin.

I've made Glycerin tinctures before and from what i know glycerin is a sugar alcohol and essential oils IE THC will dissolve into.

for tincture i put 1 gram of high grade ISO into 20 ML of liquid glycerin 5 drops had me pretty good. if you have some spare hash/keef/oil try it, aim for .1-.2 per serving and work your way up.
