what exactly is glass on glass? What does it do and so forth. What is the difference between it and just thick glass?

So glass on glass describes the bowl piece and the female piece in your bong, essentially you can make any bong glass on glass.

First off, here is my beauty.

and the bowl piece, sorry it's a crappy photo I really need to get a new camera.

So as you can see there is no grommit (sp?), the male and female pieces are sandblasted to give it a soft rough touch so when you place the bowl piece in the female piece it gives you a perfect seal so that no pressure is needed to hole the bowl piece in place. Anyone else have something to add?

its worked out very well, just as good as the roor at about a third of the price, they also gave me an extra regular stem in case i don't want to use the pre-condenser, seems very sturdy overall

Well glass on glass is the only way to go IMO..

If the prices of ROOR scare ya a bit..

Try out G-spot, Molino, Weed Star etc..alot of quality glass on glass bongs out there..

I am really not a big fan of the roor line, I really like the glass I smoke to look like art, roor to me resembles science beakers and the like.

Do they smoke better than any other bong?
