Glass for HPS

I couldnt find much info by searching IC, so i have to ask instead, will 1/8 in thick tempered glass be good, any input would be nice . . . 600w hps, 265 dayton for ventilation / / / thanks again

yep make sure its tempered it should be fine. i dont think the glass in my 600w is thicker than 1/8th

1/8" tempered is what came with my P.L. Lighting cool hood...you don't want anything thicker...glass manipulates light (I won't get into that again)... 1/8" inch is strong enough and thin enough.

I dont belive that is worth to place the glass there.

If you need to get the heat removed from the room and away from the plants its the best way. Set mine up to take outside air in and vent it out the other side. 170cfm in line on the exhaust side
