Give me advice about my first-world problem

Edit: I realize I cant ask anyone to make life decisions for me... So I'm changing this to just ask if people generally enjoy living in Los Angeles..

Is the medical "scene" in L.A. a good one? Is L.A. the kind of place people settle down in permanently, or just a place people pass through? Is the quality of life pretty decent there? Will I be able to safely grow bud in an apartment there (with a card) or will I still have to hide my gardens from landlords like I've always had to? If growing still has to be on the down-low, and I'm unable to find an apartment with a spare bedroom that I can afford, how expensive is dispensary weed there? And is it good quality?

So many questions. I've never spent much time there so I don't know if I should take a job based on higher pay and access to legal medical cannabis in a place I've never been.

I think that from the sounds of it

You know this is good, you know this is better but you are just looking for a push, someone to confirm that the choice you want to make is a good one. A rational one.

I think that since it's bugging you, then it might really be what you'd like.

Ask yourself, if i let this job go, will i regret it ?

How will i feel if i dont take this chance.

For me moving would be the last concern, having to tell management that you got offered something else, i would feel bad about making them lose their time...

Moving is small peas, especially if you are going to a med state... i get the feeling that this is very important for you, much more important then a little moving job.

From the sounds of it, you want this new job, you are just a little scared (imho)

Take some time to think this through, get in a relaxed state of mind so you can get a better, clearer picture of the scenario

Good luck

hey, i've got a wild idea.

you know, if you lived in the country, and didn't work a lot, then you could just have nature grow the seed, then you eat the seed. and you don't have to be a henchman for the man and help them slaughter us to do it!

then, you could smoke the weed, and just sit outside, and there's be birds and clouds and shit, and they would be all cool.

well

well

I don't like cities at all, and I imagine LA would be absolute hell to me, but this isn't about me so I say go for it. The opportunity to grow without any attendant paranoia or stress alone is worth it imo. The difference in attitudes has to be significant as well and that might be refreshing. The entire coast from Mexico to Canada legal in some form or fashion, it's like another nation in some ways.

Good luck either way!

You'll generally have to hide your grows from your landlord. That's why I prefer renting houses over apartments. It can be done in apartments too. All you need is a big walk in closet for a 1000 watt garden. Dispensary bud can be good. I moved here so my grows would finally be legal, so I don't buy much except to try new strains.

I've never lived in LA, but I'm glad I moved to California 4 years ago. The Bay Area is an awesome place to live. I saw a billboard today for the Hempcon Cup coming up in San Jose (where I live). It's crazy to see events like that being legal and openly advertised, coming from a more conservative non-medical state.
