Hey all, I recently had to put together a clone box from what ever I could find around the house. Last minute, I decided to take clones from my about to go into flowering plant instead of starting again from seed. Its very low light, which will keep clones super small for a few more weeks, until my grow space is freed up. I intentionally cut my clones as tiny as possible, to see a:if it would work, and b:its gona be a bit before they go into veg box.
So with out further adieu, My Ghetto Cardboard LED clone box.
It all started with a Lava Lamp Beta fish bowl, with LED lighted base, and a coffee maker box.
Here's the lava lamp fish bowl (Pic from google)
The base unlocks from the clear bowl area. It has 6 different coloured LEDs in it. I also use the Airstone and mini pump to aerate my feeding water.
Here's the box. I took a box, cut a hole for the LED base. And stuck it on in there.
I cut a two flapped "door" here's a look inside. With my ghetto white paper wall reflectors. One already fell off.
A picture of the light base, out of the hole.
The base in place, shot from the inside of the box.
Finally here is my tiny TINY clones. They are about 2 weeks old now. They will grow very little in here, which is ideal for me as it will be some time before veg box is repaired.
And heres a shot of them uncovered, in their little box.
Sorry couldn't rotate shot for some reason.
The fish tank isn't good for fish, as it's too small. but it was twenty bucks. And was originally purchased for a fish. So this, thanks to recycling, had a zero dollar price. Hurrah.
Thought I'd share.
