GH and coir

Yeah plenty of time came back to the room and found a hose got knocked over and water all over the place. What you can do is feed it but make a bin that going to catch the run of. No recirculting!!! One bin holds the water and the other one catches the return. Actually when i add the nutz and i check my ph be at 6.4 so i leave it alone. IF you feed them organic nutz your ph could be 5.8 to 6.8 with no ill affect. Pure blend Pro is good. I'm trying cns17 with excellent results @ 10ml per gallon. I love gh but the 3 bottle thing got me thinking. I save money with cns17 and pure blend pro. At the end nutz play a role but not to the exteme. Its weed and that shyt grows any place and where.

I know what you`re sayin bout nutes bein only part of the equation,but I`ve got couple gallons of micro and bloom to use up ,then move on to all-in-one mixtures........Only makes sense to buy one product instead of 15 lol with all those additives and shit.....I`ve never added anything but gh 321 18/6 and 123 at 12/12.........But you`re tellin me to mix the shit to half-strength?...Cool.......less is more and costs cut in half already on nutes..........Our old friend used to preach more about environment than what nutes were used,but gh always worked well for me..........Anyways dewd....(1) Do you clone in coir as well?.....(2) If so....to raise em to 18" tall before puttin em in the big room,(a)what size containers,(b)what type light,(c) what kinda diluted strength nutes and (d) how often to feed their lil asses to keep from drownin and stuntin em?....I`ve always used vermiculite/perlite mix for clones under a cheap ass fluorescent shop light..How you doin it BH?...Oh!.......(3) what about canna-nutes?......Buncha hype or have you ever tried em?.......Thanks again man......PEACE..........DHF........

I still clone in vermiculite 50% and perlite50%. But next time will be in coir .I i will be able to grow them bigger before they hit the big room. Those styrofoam 16 oz works perfect under t5 light. I feed them every other day @ half strength. Around here i haven't seen canna nutes. So have no comments on them. I seen lots of thread with them and good result. IF you got gh you will do fine. I just wanted to try something new. Plus my haze strain hates gh. It gives me the claw effect. While cns17 and pure blend pro doesn't on this particular strain.

Hey man......(1)How`s your clonin,pre-veg area set up and what size T-5 fixture you runnin?....I`m thinkin of upgradin...16 oz. styrofoam cups with coir next time huh...My red solo cups have done me proud with verm/perl...(2)You gonna punch holes in bottom of those cups when you replace verm/perl with coir for runoff?........(3)What`s your clone transplant method from the cups into the 5 gal. buckets as far as cleanin any debri away in the cups before transplant?........rather do you sink em in the coir deeper to make roots higher up on the clone/vegling main stem for more root growth.........I always dug out just enough lava to kinda let my clones kinda sit up on top with the verm/perl mixture cleaned mostly away so as to not clog the buckets up ya know but made sure the taproot got down deep enough with constant re-circulatin, but this is like when I used to grow outside but with hydro results and I always used to bury my clones deeper in the ground for more root development with excellent results.....Just wanted your thoughts on a few things dewd .....Thanks.........DHF..............

Will also be using the GH Flora for my first coco run. I added perlite to the coco, next time I probably won't. I flushed the coco/perlite mix a few times and letting it sit a bit until I add seedlings.

Do you ever need to add calcium/magnesium as a pH buffer? My water here is good, pH about 6 and magnesium 2 - 5p.p.m., calcium 9 - 15p.p.m. Do you think I'd ever need to add a bit of dolomite lime?

Can you tell me how much GH Micro/Grow/Bloom I will add per litre or water for veg and for flower, please?

highonthechroni-Are you going to use gh 3 part? If you using tap you don't need cal/mag. Gh should adjust your ph with in range 5.8 to 6.5. I don't think dolomite works in coco. I have never experience or work with dolomite. I wouldn't know what to tell you about dolomite. In veg 7.5ml grow 5ml micro 2.5 bloom per gallon. In bloom 7.5ml bloom 5ml micro, 2.5 grow. Hope that helps

hey bluehaze got question for you any reason your not using the Lucas formula
8ml GH Micro 16 ml GH Bloom i am fixing to start adding nutes to my test run in coco and i have gh flora 3 part and floranova just wonder if the Lucas formula would work better in coco. still tiring to decide if i want to use the 3 part or go with flornova

Stevr59 i never work with the lucas ratio. Coir need less nutrient. If you use 3 part go half strength. There is a thread using flora nova take a look into that. When i went full strength with gh i got twisted leaves.

Those willijuana gave from 8 to 10 oz each. So to the garbage it goes. Low yielding piece of crap. My hashplant went to the garbage as well. Yield was excellent but smoke wise it wasn"t up to par. I have the pre98 bubba kush that yield fairly decent but been such a good strain its a keeper. My haze yields excellent for tree grows.
