Crippler said:It's great. I used it for many years and I have friends that still use it and their herb is great as well.
These days I use the Floranova from GH. It's just one bottle to mix and shake. I love it for ease of use and the results are great. I recommend it for the slacker type who doesn't want to hassle with a lot. That's just me.
General Hydroponics 3part flora series nutes are like industry standard though. There are a ton of products now to choose from. I would experiment if you have the leisure.
Blackvelvet said:If your going to use hydroponic ferts for a soil grow, use the least amount of dolomite lime as possible. Gh 3 part, floranova, etc... contain large amounts of calcium and magnesium.
I use the gh 3 part I start at 1/2 strength. After a couple weeks I go up to 3/4 strength. A couple weeks back I gave them full strength & got a little tip burn. I don't have much experience with the lucas formula.Hawaiian808 said:EZB,,,are you using it at hydro strength? or do you use less being that it's going into soil and not a reservoir.
Is GH in soil at Lucas Formula strength for flower a good idea (8ml Micro and 16ml Bloom)?

Go easy with the gh and you'll be very happy with the results.
Wanted to bump this and add that yesterday I addedd "sweet" to my ferts and still a perfect 6.5 ph, staight tap. I will NEVER use any other brand/kid of fertilizer again. GH is simple to use (pretty much idiot proof directions) and cheap

This is Blueberry was grown using GH flora series in soil.
