GG#4 week 4 Mag/PH problems???

Help me out IC, I have had pretty poor luck when it comes to getting people with real knowledge to actually respond on this site.

Growing in Coco
2x600
general organics nutes+rock res+age old sea cal mag
I'm partially color blind and was having a hard time reading my ph with all the nutes browning the water, so I finally got a ph pen.

I don't vacuum up my drainage after watering, is that a problem?
I have only seen very very light burn on the leaves from a waterg a couple weeks ago, and I recently treated the room with spinosad for thrips, but was having this problem on a very mild scale previous to that. lime green/yellowish growth near the bud sites, throughout the tent.

lights on/lights off for reference of color. HELP!?!? This is my first personal grow, but I have helped other growers manage/process/reset for years. :thank you:

Hi sts9,

you shouldn't let your plants sit in the runoff water. it will rot the roots and the soil will become very acidic.

how much are you feeding them?
what's your ppm?
how often do you feed?
do you flush with plain water?
I also need to know your soil Ph before I can properly help you?

thanks

Last feeding I backed it down to 500ppm for a mild flush, very little run off, didn't vacuum up runoff.
Been watering every 3-4 days, but things are ramping up and they will likely get watered every 2-3 days from here on out.
Have never flushed since starting 12/12, I use about 8 gallons of RO'd water, and add 2 gallons of tap to make it an even 10.
I will post soil PH tonight when I water. Let me know if that helps.

Ok, watered in real good, at about 860ppm's, and 6.2ph. Run off tested at 5.9ph and about 1380ppm's.
Gave a good feeding of Cal+Mag. Hopefully this brings back where they should be.

Do you normally pH to 6.2? In coco 5.8-6.0 seems to work best for me. When get over 6.1 I get mag Def. hope this helps

Based on what I know 6.2 pH should be fine in coco. My mix drifts around 6 sometimes a little more or less depending, and this seems to work the best. Also Mg is more available to plants in the upper range of the pH suggested for hydro.

your ph seems to be ok for coco.
looks to me like a iron deficiency then.
be sure and clean out your runoff trays and with the frequent feedings they are given. I would also flush with plain water. every couple weeks. the salts will build up fast!

hope this helps.
good luck
