Getting the most out of your grow-space

Hey buds,

would it be possible to run 3 sets of plants in one tent?

I was thinking about giving em 8 hours of light and then switch em into a dark closet, taking out another batch of plants and so on.

I came up with that idea since I already to that with 2 set of plants in a 12/12 cycle right now.

But then I remembered the gaslighting method were we end up with something like 10/14 or even 9/15 in the end of flowering iirc, so I was asking myself, does the loss of another hour hurt that bad if we in return get a bigger count of plants in total into our tent, just shifted. all the while every plant gets a more even part of light as less concurrent leafs are taking light from each other.

If we are at gaslighting, why the heck is it 12-5.5-1-5.5 and not 13/11? never came to me...

thanks a lot :witch:

hello brother,
i wrote a longer answer but TLDR, so:
- too much work everyday, at most parts of the day (3 times separated by 8 hours... so at 08:00, 16:00 and 00:00). Miss or delay, it is very likely all your previous work will be hurt. and this is every bloody day. no rest for you!
- 8 hours of light is 33% less than 12. So, in 3 months flowering you will have 2 months worth of growth when compared to 12/12.

so, is this ton of work and estimated underdevelopment worth it a bigger number of plants?
not in my book at least,
better to focus your commitment in a couple of plants and lead them to success in peaceful grow.
best regards.
