Getting resin out of storage jars?

Well, after a few harvests, my mason jars that I store and cure in have become pretty caked with resin, around the bottom rim especially, but the entire inside is covered for the most part. One jar alone looks to have more trichs stuck inside it than I collect in my grinder in a week.

Normally Id clean them up and write off my loss, but theres a substantial amount in there at this point. Do any of you try to salvage this jar hash? What kind of experiences have you had with different methods?

I just throw a little ISO in there and pour it on a platter, but it has to be built up pretty thick and if you have a few jars just pour it to the next jar and then on a platter, works pretty good

I think its a bit too sticky for a make up brush, maybe the warm milk too, but damn that sounds good! I might just try it anyways.

ISO was what I was thinking too. Wish I could find a good way to scrape them though.

razor blade melted into a toothbrush, scrape what you can. DRINK THE REST!

Use the warm milk, toss in a few unpopped popcorn kernels and shake it up. The kernels will knock everything off the glass. Don't drink the kernels.

I use 91 or 99% ISO to clean mine. Pour enough in the jar to get it pretty full, shake vigorously until most of the resin has freed iself from the jars then pour the liquid through a couple coffee filters onto a glass plate. Put plate in front of fan let it evap for a few hours and scrape up the remainder with a razor. I get extremely potent hash doing this and it's nothing but the shake of the shake.

Isopropyl alcohol, for the win. I use the 91% stuff. Pour some in your jar, or medicine bottle, whatever... swish it around, shake violently, whatever you gotta do to get it all dissolved. Then, I pour it onto a pyrex dish to evaporate. No coffee filters needed. So what if there's also a few crumbs or hairs in there too? No need to filter them out.

This make fantastic, full-melt hash.

I just did 12 - 2qt Jars I have been using the last few years with 91% ISO and the ISO turned Dark Amber with Goodness...

i tried warm milk a few months ago. swished about 10 jars with hot milk, then drank it - no effect at all.
i'd go with iso.

I used ISO and I worked very well, pulled about 3 grams out of 12 jars...

Still soft and sticky, seeing if it was firm up a little sitting out...

full fat milk. everything else is a waste of tastebuds.

Full fat is also what you want to bind with the THC so it is digestable. I'm surprised it didn't work!

maybe there was much less stuck to the jars than i thought.
