:lurk: By reading and doing, I just might get something out of this. :chin: Made a box and got some seeds going. Bit of a strech :yoinks: due to bad light position in the begining. Now I have the light closer and I think it'll be allright.

Before I moved all the junk aside to make room for the "Big F'en Box", I had the cups in a tool chest and the lights were 18 inches above. I was working hard this weekend and lazied out, "B&B", [beer and bud]. Checked on them this morning and POW!! Some look like Micheal Jordan flying to the hoop. lol Sooo-any-ways, finished enough to put them on a shelf and have the lights half an inch away. raised them to take pictures, but thier back on them now. Next week I'm buying a 175MH and then a 400HPS Thanks for the input. I'll be needing lots of help later, I hear these strains can be finicky. Peace In

Where's the ventilation? You need fresh air with its CO2 and you need to exhaust the hot air too.

Without it your grow will suffer. If youre gonna get some real lights you had better get some fans and ducts going too!

Minor changes

Thankyou for the input, I'm doing this with my lunch money, so it's a work in progress. I figured that the plants will be on the floor sooner or later, so I made it sooner. I have 3, 4ft floros that later will be side lighting. For now I have them very adjustable. I plan on building a carbon scrubber and use a Stanley blower to remove heat and smell. Temps outside are in the teens, and the wall is cold so heat is not a problem yet. This is a journey and it's all one step at a time. :puppydoge Question for the Gurus, :kissass: do I wait for the plants to show wilt before I water, or go with, the weight of the cup in my hand method?? Well nuff said, Peace In :smoweed:

 Pictures worth a 1000 words!

I wait till the cups feel empty, then put some water in a cup and let the plants sink into the second cup and wait till they look like they want to float. After removing the plant, I let it drip out, and finish with about 1 inch in the water cup. These are my first Grade A genetics. Was bagseed for 5 crops and did alright.

 Power Plant, Fuma con Dios, Green Spirit and Thia-tanic. :woohoo: My plan is to go FF soil, with EJ ferts, and a 400hps. :sasmokin: A typical stoner move, I had 10 each germing and with marks on the cups to tell me what's what. :yummy: When screwing with the lights I knocked all my plants over and managed to save 22 of the 36 that had germed. Now I don't know whos who. :pointlaug :bigeye: :cuss: :spank: :cuss: :fsu:

I know Im gonna sound like your mother but cleanliness in a grow is very critical and often overlooked. Another issue is air, plants need fresh air too. but watch where and how you vent you can never be to cautious...Temps in the teens!?! U sound like your in my neck o the woods?

I just wanna repeat, keep those lamps like 1/4 to 1/2 inch above the tops the whole time you use the flo's,this means usually adjusting the light every day or two.It makes a huge difference having them at 1/4 inch as opposed to a couple inches, the tops can touch the lamps for hours without being harmed too but try not to let that happen,if it does no big deal its better than having the lamps a few inches away

Warrior, and FF potting mix, Wormcastings

FFOF and Peace of Mind Fruit and Flower

Im keeping the babies half and inch away.

Anybody have experience with these??

Short history.

I want to cut clones and Fim them, when or how tall should I wait?
Just plain water so far, going with 1\4 stregth EJ ferts after my next transplant. Any sugestions, please.

I agree I normally take cuts the day I go 12/12 with the plants, dont wait until the 12/12 photoperiod to pull cuts they are best taken before the "change".Give the donor plants a shot of bloom fert several hours or the night before taking cuttings this helps them a good bit because they are lacking in phosphorous
