Hi all, Well i spoke to the Hippyslayer today and i'm glad to report he is home and fighting hard,
He is on a coarse of heavy Duty Antibiotics and should make a recovery soon if the meds go well.

As Moonunit said the Slayer is a credit the the scene and we all wish him a speedy recovery.

Thank you moon & everyone else, I'm much better now but still not fully recovered.

get well soon mate ,,,,so what happend?

Went to see my Dr. last Thursday morning & picked up a bug from his waiting room, within 3 hrs I was in agony. I have never been so sick in all my born days. Next 3 days I had a fever, chills, no food, all the symptoms I had were of scarlet fever. Then I got this nasty rash on my head which was diagnosed as cellulitus, a skin infection. So, my GP sends me off to hospital Saturday night to be given some IV antibiotics & a lot of blood tests & general poking & prodding. Sunday morning fever is gone, a side effect of the antibiotics is excess fluid under skin around site of infection, in my case, on my face/top of head....So now I look like a boxer with a lumpy head lol. Well, I did, much better now. Got an appointment today to see what's happening. While I'm at it I'll give you all a brief on my other problems....I recently was diagnosed with a basal cell carcinoma (skin cancer) on my right forearm & Bowen's disease (pre-cancerous) on my right leg. All of these will be removed 1st week of November. No more full sun for me , I'm afraid. Thank you all for the well wishes, it means a lot to me, more than I can express here with mere words.
