When I reveg a plant, I use 18/6. I don't know how you would do that without lights......

Please tell me how you think a plant is going to reveg without a light?

Ornamental plants in nature, the flowering plants that we have in our gardens- they flower, the flowers die, the plant/shrub keeps growing,
and then after a while they flower again without anybody putting
lights on them- yes ? so why is cannabis different ?
( I have only done indoor with lights before this)

It is technically possible if youre location is right You could even put a battery powered flashlight on a timer to combat the extra hours.IM sure you could pull it off in south florida!

Perennials (perpetual season after season)and annuals(must be replanted annually) are different. Some plants will go through the cycles without any help and others die and live on through seeds.

Cannabis is an annual plant that continues through seed....it has a life cycle that is fairly short UNLESS artificial lights are used to manipulate photoperiods to keep the plant in veg.

If you figure out a way to do this naturally without manipulating photoperiods then please enlighten us as you've learned something we have not.

Its possible to grow year round and revegg.Start you plants inside january then transfer outside in february. The climate would have to be tropical like south florida or jamaica.with 12 hours of light in february the plants will flower until spring.Harvest buds and leave some popcorn.By that time you will have enough hours to revegg the plant and still have time for flowering and harvest in october. You could either revegg a cutting indoors or start over. But you can get two harvests in one year out of one plant!

I realize the posters question may not fit my answer.

All right - I hear you - I was hopeful because I discarded all my lights, pumps, timers etc etc. when I moved down into the tropics thinking 'what ever would I need them for ? Will have to rig up some something cheap- cfls probably. Thanks to all.

I have a couple females that I took the top buds off of, left the popcorn to see if they will come back,, I had a haze do it and grew back and into a monster over the summer.

CFL's should work fine. When I re-veg, I use PL-Ls and they are just an overgrown CFL.
