Germination - confirming the steps

Hi

I have 13 seeds that released roots in paper towel. Placed them all in the tray covered with the dome. Have fluorescent light about an inch away. 5 showing signs of life. The rest are still covered with coco. I been adding a few drops of water where I placed the seed every morning. The seeds were planted on Sunday.
I searched everywhere I could for the steps and timelines when working with seedlings. Couldn't find anything
Specifically when to uncover the dome, raise the light, add more coco and things like that.
Would you help me either with description or pointing where those steps can be found.
Thank you so much.

You dont really need a dome, allthough i guess it doesnt hurt. Just keep it moist

And you dont really need light until you see green, when sprouted flourecent light should allways be as close as possible without burning them (about 1-2 inches i would say)

Also what tray did you place them in? planting all in the same container is a bad idea and can be difficult to work with

Spend the money on a tall dome, tray, rapid rooters, heat mat, thermostat, and grow tray insert made by grodan to keep your plugs out of the water. The paper towel step is redundant...

Set the tray and dome under your CFL....about a few inches from the top of the dome. Set your heatmat to 78f. Pour some water on the bottom of the tray....put the seed in the rooter....put a few drops of water in the rooter to make it moist...but not dripping. Put the rooters in the tray....seal the dome...and enjoy sprouts in 3-5 days.

Constant temp and humidity is the most important part here. Same thing with cloning. You can also use your new germination setup to clone in. Although I like to make it warmer in there when cloning.

Cheers

Thanks you guys

Spending some more money wouldnt be an issue but I am already into the process of germing the seeds.
As you see, they are sitting right under the light, day 3.
Been keeping moist but was told to take the dome out and let the roots look for water

i think you need to let them dry out some. seeds need moist soil...if it's too wet for more than a couple days they will rot.
