genealogy of blue mystic?

im growing blue mystic outdoors and im curious about the lineage of this strain. i smoked it at the clubs here in the bay area and it was a nice psychoactive strain with berry undertones, i read somewhere it has blueberry and northern lights (maybe bm = blueberry x northern lights?)

also, is this strain good outdoors?

I, too, am growiing blue mystics. I'm doing an indoor @ 28 days flower. I've been wondering about their lineage too. I've never been lucky enough to smoke any blue mystic. That'll change in another month.
I'm gonna follow along to see how much info folks can give us.

Wow, I was just about to make a thread concerning Blue mystic, what a find! I was wondering what percentage of plants change colors. I've heard that most females change color mid-way through flower, but was unsure of how accurate that is. Should I expect some purple and blue hues, or should I be praying for those colors.

here ya go, this is nirvana blue mystic overgrow strain reports, and there are also many reports on it here go to search and put in blue mystic a lot of them turn blue, thats the blueberry pheno of the cross. hope this helps

I only got two they both are showing signs of purple but i think it might be cause of the cold temps but I cant be sure. One is much more colorful than the other. These are the two pics are the same girl.





The smaller one in the bottom right.

I just put my 2 BM's into dark for 2 days before the cut... No purple, but they both smell soooooo berryish, its crazy. Cant wait to smoke them!!!! No purpling at all, and lots of nute problems with one of the girls, but aside from that....

I can't see any blue yet on my blue mystics. The strain guide mentions getting blue hues in later flowering - under the right growing conditions -- whatever that means. I'm growing indoors so it won't get cold enough to turn it blue.
The other thing I wondered about was the Skunk it was crossed with. Was it Skunk #1 or a variation thereof? Which poses another question. Does anyone really give a rat's ass? I'm a babe in the woods when it comes to understanding this genetics stuff. My major concern at this point is growing plants that are short in stature so they won't grow out of my grow box - 1' x 4' x 3.'
My last order from Gypsy netted me some free South African Durban Poison x Skunk #1 beans. I'm anxious to try them out. They will have to be trained to stay short. I love a good challenge. Peace

If the seeds you got were from Sam the Skunkman... I wouldn't get your hopes up. I got the exact same seeds as freebies in my order... and I have tryed germinating 3 seeds, all duds, so I tryed another one a week later, and it didn't germinate either. Perhaps some scuffing of the seeds might have allowed them to pop, who knows. Goodluck with your seeds.

P.S. Even though my seeds appeared to be duds, its still kick ass that Gypsy sends freebies, haha.

from the sativaish leafes it seems that TFD´s the pure was used , the only BB i know that carries such thin leafes is a BlueSat#2 the BBsat pheno ...

Grew out 1 BM Female last year-outdoors. About the last week and a half she got light blue overtones, very pretty actually. Color was more intense (ok, a little) after a good glass jar cure. The buzz was great, taste was superb!. I love this plant and started 10 this year. Also, crossed the blue with ICE and Hindu Kush. Popped about 20 each of those beans. Hopefully I'll find a good mix of both and keep her going. Grow the Blue, you'll love it blu or not!
