I stuck a greenhouse heater in the tent to hopefully reduce stretch last night, £30 from the shop.

I thought higher temps promoted stretch and colder temps less stretch

The lower the day to night temperature differential the less stretch should be exhibited. I like to try and get warmer for lights out as that lowers stretch further.

Keep that heater in there.

hmm i get less stretch from a big swing in temps max min said 31-9 hardly any last run ive been at a constant 16-22 this run and stretch was better

herbs would the swing ive currently got need to be less say a 2 degree swing to stop stretch then

i thought growth stopped at around 12 degrees,i blamed my last yield on temps and circulation mate run before it 4 zips more

Maybe its in your plant genetics that it allows for less stretch with cooler night temps, thanks for your input bro.

I think you kinda answered your own question bro, if growth stops @ 12C and you had 9C temps I'd guess that the minimal stretch was down to that reason and maybe the airpots as I found I got a very small amount of stretch on the current lot.

5-10C difference between night and day temps seems to be the accepted practice defined by Heath Robinson amongst others... I think he goes for 5C drop max.

Hi everyone, I've got some update pics to share from day 14 onwards things are slowly starting to fill-out and I've had to do some major defoliation at the latter stages of these pics.

The Lep300 seems to create the perfect condition within the tent, plants seem to have extra vigour.

Ello boys and girls, G81 updating his blog I've been a bit slack but I'm going to promise to keep it updating weekly, now its starting to get interesting 3 weeks into flower.

I've also potted up my Lil~cuts, they seem happy. Back to the big tent though, I wish I had more height to play with as I usually like to grow straight up colas, they definitely produce more weight in my opinion ` I'm currently having to bend-da-shit out of them just to keep the canopy off the lights, I'm struggling- big time.
