Gavita issues? Anyone running small gavita rooms?

Okay fellas I recently purchased some gavita 1000s after seeing my buddys run with them. I replaced my old 4k with them and everything ran smooth I got a larger exhaust fan to deal with the heat issues and everything was great until now. I'm in week 5 and my buds seem small, I'm a veteran grower so I know there small haha...but im assuming it's the gavitas since my 6k garden next door is fine and everything is exactly the same besides the lights...i know the gavitas are supposed to be hung higher and they are 3ft from my canopy @ 825w..4 wall fans, 10in exhaust, 75-80F, co2 (intermittent) this is the 2nd run with these light last time I had heat issues and the plants where too close to the lights <2ft.. any ideas should I scrap the gavitas until I can get a barn up and running with 10 ft ceilings?

Lights are off as of now ill post pictures around 4pm

Oh also no nutrient issues plants are lush green. No heat stress that I can see no nutes burn(950 ppm max 1.8ec? With a 500 ppm flush once a week) 5.8-6.0 ph running plain coco in 7 gallon plastic pots. Running GG#4 monocrop 20 plants..

The last run only yeild 4lbs of "usable" garbage lots of small bleached buds. I had to wax almost an additional 3 lbs of larf not including the actual trim leaf which came from the tops of the plants as well ass the bottoms. I do have a prime example of how these plants looked as I have one doing the same thing. These plants look better but don't compare to my normal single ended bulb room.

raise the lights, run them at 750, or run short plants in a sea of green.

Man you don't need to move those lights farther away. I've had mine 16 inches from the canopy with no problems.

Peep my highland Mexican x Blueberry grow in the Chimera seed vendor forum. This is a strain know for super skimpy yields and my plants are popping off under these lights.

only using one in each room and no problems with gg4s1, still around 3feet from light but I have run them very close n no problems , bit of fade. at 1000 watts last 3 runs. 5 footers or so. running at 27c with ac off.

Thanks everyone for the replies I've been very busy lately so I haven't been able to upload photos I'm assuming photo bucket is still the way to go? I took the gavitas down for the time being and replaced them with standard air cooled 1000w lights after more reading I found some info saying that the gavitas give off alot of infrared light and that heats the plant internally..i took a Lazer thermometer and checked the plants even tho my room was a stable 80f the plants ranged from 90-113F from my understanding the plants cannot transpire correctly at this temperature thus the poor growth.. so until I have proper ac in the room i will be running horts.

As for other suggestions I could possibly run smaller plants but I've found that 4 plants per light @ 4ft finishing height gives me a constant 1.3-1.5 per light without ac or co2 smaller plants are more of a pain bc of plant restrictions in my state lower numbers of medium sized plants seem to yeild best..

Noyd666 seems that if I get closer than 3.5ft to the canopy my plants stretch like crazy and I get very "wispy" growth the buds don't tighten or fill up they are dense but small it's like they hit the 3rd-4th week and then got dusted by pollen so instead of throwing new pistils out and swelling the caylxes they just swell what they made early on and never produce more it's hard to explain they just look like a novice grew they're first plant 2 inches from the light and piled instead full of nutes haha

You said your room is 80 and the canopy is way hot... just move the sensor for your fan/ac to the canopy. If that doesn't work add more fans, much cheaper than mini splits if your in a bind

I think there is some confusion among the repliers.

You're talking about 1000w DE, correct?

Hard ceiling? Would it be possible to inset the lights a la pot lighting?

You say you don't have an AC? You need to have some kind of air blowing directly across the top of the canopy. It sounds like it's getting to hot. If that's the case then yes moving them closer might make the problem worse. But an intense fan blowing right across the canopy should be enough to help the problem. Some pics would help.
