Gavita 6/750 bulb questions

Hi all

Planning out a new bulb want to go DE, thinking the 6/750 since I only have 8 1/2 ft to work with in height, been debating those over doing 1k de dimmed down

My question is, are there any MH bulbs that can be used in the 6/750? Would a regular 600w DE fire up fine in this ballast? Since for the first round it will be veg and bloom all in one room if there is no MH choice for this fixture then it kinda leads me the dimmed 1k route.


Might be a dumb question but can’t find it addressed on any forums online so figured I throw a post out

I have one and currently run a DE 630watt CMH in it on the 700 watt setting or at 600 or lower.
I bought the cheapest bulb on Amazon and it has over 2 runs on it. 4000K for the best terps.

Awesome that’s what I was hoping to hear was that any 600w DE would fire on these, think that seals it that the new build will be with the 6/750!
