Anyone tried these? Or just know something about them.

They have two different models "GROW" for standalone use and "SUP" for supplemental use with another light.

The spectrum is supposedly excellent for quality. But how is the yield, especially in standalone use?

Very expensive, but they claim cheaper in the long run due to the long lifecycle, which is 30,000 hours (GROW) / 50,000 hours (SUP). Not sure if the emitter only can be replaced after this time, possibly not?

Doesn't come with a controller, but I guess one is not needed unless you want to dim it?

Should run cool like LED.

Never tried. I was told some years ago by an employee the biggest cloneshop in austria used the 300w version as veglight. But only over something like 80x80cm or 90x90cm footprint per light.
I would dev give them a try iy they were cheaper.
Iirc there was a hybride light with led and a low watt lep(tic tac sice bulp)

Yeah not quite sure what the difference with the 270e and 300 are. Seems like exactly the same specs except for a 10W difference in power consumption. I think the 300 is just the older model that has been replaced with the 270e.

Do you remember who made the hybrid light? I can only find a 2016 model from a company called Luxtheon that doesn't seem to exist anymore.
