Gavita 1000 ; Grow Room Specs

my room is 22' L X 20 W X 15' H. How many gavitas 1000 are suggested for this size? Using a 5 ton HVAC to cool it.

Are u using gavitas? 12 makes sense that's how many HPS i have now but with adjust a wings? Whats your opinion on the gavitas if your using them. What is the recommended height they should be? I currently use pulleys to adjust the height since my ceilings are so high, but heard gavitas are good for high ceilings....

I currently have 3 1k de's...... I haven't set them up yet though... just finish my last vert run.... BUT.....! From all the research I've done...... the gavita's throw a 4 x 6 pattern.... Alot of the pro killin it with the sog bed are running 3over each 4x16 table.... give yourself 2ft or a lil more for aisle's and you'll be golden.....

Also my ceilings are a lil over 10' which kind of another reason i switched to gavita..... i'm plan on running them at 1150 3ft away from canopy..

I think i'm gonna do one room with them until they are proven. Its a pricey upgrade but well worth it if it works as it should. thanks for the input.

I'm running them 5.5' on center of each other and they blow the SE's bulbs away. 28k SE room was upgraded to a 20 light Nanolux DE room. I like them 4 feet above the canopy on max setting.

Key, with DE you need more ceiling height to accommodate same size plants as with SE.

I wouldn't recommend more than 15kw on a 5 ton in a basement, above ground 12kW.

Yeah gonna roll with 12 to start in one room. Heres a stupid question what is DE and SE? My room is above ground. In what what blows them away?

Haha yeah just talked to my boy who owns a hydroshop and it clicked. Duh lol forgive me been trimming and blazing all day. Anyways he also mentioned that hydrofarm has a new DE setup, any experience with these? The only reason I'm rushing is because one our rooms are empty and gonna fire up by the weekend and want to switch over and get this test going and he has the hydrofarms in stock and the gavitas are sold out everywhere.

dude GAVITA.end of story ive been researching them.and there R and D.is the best bar none. Seriously. Im going to pick up 4 of those 600/750 after this years outdoor.to do a side by side with 4 1k ushio and yet to be determined digital ballest.in 8 x 8 gorilla tents

I have a 23x19ft room with 8 gavitas pro's. The gavitas are hung at 10ft. There are 4 flood trays that are 4x8, and about a foot off the ground to manage drainage. With 2 gavitas over each 4x8 tray running at 100% power. I estimate by day 60 the canopy will be about 3 to 4 feet away from the lights.

So each gavita is over a 4x4 area (5x5 area at canopy level?). With 6 plants per light. Haven't seen any light bleaching at 3 weeks in. No burns, the AC runs well keeping it at 75 degrees.

This is my first run with the gavitas! Can anyone give advice on my set up? Thanks

could have ran 6 lights for 4x 4 by 8 tables ..

Just replaced Adjust a wings. Went with the DE hyrdrofarm set up. We'll see how it goes bulb is so bright you really can't even glance at it.
