kinda of scary, makes you wonder why the hell is there a hole in space?!!? Honstly that cant be good, and could have devestasting effects to humans, though Iam sure it wont happen for another 100 yrs or 200 yrs if not longer.

I sort of doubt it because something that size (1 billion lightyears in diameter) would be so big it would be unlogical for a civilization to use. I guess its a possibility, but considering this "empty space" is 10,000 times the size of our own galaxy; that would require one gigantic civilization to use all that space.
I think, since we know so little about space, the answer could really be anything.

The universe is like a big balloon. Ours has a hole in it and dark matter is leaking into the next universe or dimension. I'm sure that if we could look into the other side, we would find a little Dutch boy sticking his finger(or some other part) into the hole,trying to keep the dark matter out of his world.

They just updated the report and it's apparently due to global warming. Much like the hole in the ozone layer. Current government are trying to work out how much tax we should pay as punishment. Apparently bush will also use it to hide all those misappropriated tax dollars as it's the only place big enough.

That a super massive black hole obtained critical gravitational pull to separate from our universe and create it's own universe and took everything withing its gravitational range with it.
In short a Big bang in another universe.
Theroy: in time all black holes will produce universes.
Thus all black holes are big bang embryos.

I like that theory Jack, is it your own? If you follow the string and m theories which state there could very well be as many as 11 dimensions; I could see how what you said hold true. To think a black hole took what ever matter it could in, then somehow moved it to the other universe/dimension is quite possible.
Something I don't know is do black holes also suck in dark matter and dark energy?

No I doubt I thought of it first. I did think it made sense that black holes could do that way back when I first thought about it but being my theory? Na!

It is all to do with Bill Gates. He bought the universe from it's previous owner who had gone bankrupt and had to sell it along with his neverland ranch. Bill then turned the universe into one great big O.S. and called it Windows Universe. It has all the required fields included. What you guys are calling the 'Big Bang' is merely a computer virus much like a Trojan worm. This 'Hole in space' is actually the recycling bin, which to most is quite easily comprehended. Anyway once Bill has ironed out all the glitches he plans to take over all parallel universes and create Windows Universe ME, Windows Universe Parallel 3000 and Windows Universe Big Bang. Then he will actually be able to connect other universes as slave drives and have just about enough room to store his collection of cash and gold bullion.
