Gage Green question?

I keep seeing gage green seeds at a couple seedbanks. Does anyone know why they are so expensive? I can't see paying 250 for 10 seeds. Am I missing something. Do they send a bunch of extra seeds, or a lot of freebies? I don't understand why people would pay so much. when bodhi, bog, even karma is no where near that expensive

Supply and demand in action.
They do have cheaper things like diamonds and dust(about a buck a seed)and the bastard lines.
I have never heard many complaints from their supporters except hard to get.
They do have a lot of interesting landrace sativas and crosses, that's what got me trying them out.

Their freebies are not very enticing.
That's why Ive only spent several hundred with them and in the same time spent several thousand on bodhi. Must have freebies are a clever marketing tool.

I wish GGG well and hope they sell the shit out of all their seeds, they stuck their necks out to get where they are and deserve to profit.

Seems like price per strain, they value some at a higher value. Limited stock and such. There are still packs at $100-$120 mark which is worth it for anyone. I scooped up "10" at an event which i still see out there around $100. Good guys. They hooked it up with he diamond and dust" freebies with a purchase, and were happy to talk. Didn't get any of the usually snobbery.

$250 so what. Same as everything else, if you don't like the price of something don't buy. A least you can find the GGG seeds if you want to buy some. Now Aficionado seed strains sell for $300 a pack and you cannot find a pack of ANY of their strains anywhere on Earth right now. Thousands of their packs are sold starting in the fall time and all were sold long ago. This tells me they should be priced at $600 a pack so there might be a few available right now:biggrin:

I used to bitch bad about the price of seeds in general but I recently spent $300 each for a couple packs of Top Dawg gear.

I still think seeds are way over priced, especially at more than $100 for 10 seeds.
BUT...
If you really want a specific thing bad enough, there is no price to expensive to pay.

Put those dollar bills in the ground and I bet they just grow mold.

I run @gagegreengroup
journeyman phenol chased by @spaceaged.genetics from Detroit and its super beautiful, and a heavy yielder. would you rather by some plant off of craigslist that might be a #2 phenol? you don't know if someone popped beans and is just trying to re coop the loss on dirt electric etc, while keeping the golden phenol for them. while your struggling to try and straighten out a petered out phenol. I chased for @moscanegra and did his pink line this year outdoors. amazing. @kromewhite has some awesome seeds also Key here is that you get what you pay for. you have to do the chase and put the time in for the keepers.
