G13xSkunk, a few days away..

Here's a keeper GSkunk cut in late flower. This cut has supposedly been used for cropping in NorCal for some time now, and was gifted to me from someone in the area..

This is my 1st run with her, so i kept her pretty small, and ran her in a small 6" shallow pot (1/2 gal) jus to see if the end product is something i'm after.

You can see the commercial potential, it screams producer, and certainly does produce even in mediocre conditions.

She likes to crown, after about 55 days most of the pistils besides the top 1'' of the colas die off, and she's jus starting to show amber trichs at day 58, I would guess she'll easily be done by 65 in most gardens, sooner in others.

hey H&L, thanks. She doesn't have any real skunkyness to her unfortunately, believe me I was hoping! lol

She's more of the typical sweetish-dank smell of commonly good pot, if you know what i mean, definately something from the Skunk#1 side mixed with something dankish from the G13... Good for stealth, or large scale grows without the need for crazy odor control.

When I give her a test I'll elaborate further, but so far i think this is more of a mersh cut than a personal keeper, she just doesn't have the smell (and assumed taste) that i'm after.. I want stuff that u can't stop smelling, or that you are scared to grow :wink:

excellent looking buds..but how much longer do you plan on letting them go? I'd say they still have a week or so at the very least.

58 days and still so much white hairs!? What kind of SK#1 needs 60+ days?? It's probable contain that much skunk just as G13

thanks, I'm gonna let her go to about 63-65, so yeah, about a week.. The pics don't show it well, but the plant is completely finished pistil-wise. The only new pistils are those busting out the tops, and some trics are getting amber.. So i'd say she's technically takable now, altho to get some more body outa her i'm gonna leave her a bit longer.

thanks, like I said above, she's only really fox-tailing up top.. If u look lower on the buds you can see they're done.. Jus a last ditch effort by the plant to put a lil more wieght on. also, i've been running below 60 lights on for most of this flower stage, and i'm pretty sure that's slowed her down a few days.

Yes, it's the G13xSkunk from Shanti, but i'm pretty sure it's a few yrs old cut. I don't really have a ton of info on her unfortunately, the guy that passed her to me isn't online much anymore..

Thanks bro, I keep it simple. I grow in Sunshine Mix#4, feed with 3 part GH/AN, and give them plain water for 15 days before i cut the plants down. Lately I've been underfeeding a bit on some plants, and I have cool temps.. makes for slightly lower yeild but better tasting and more colourful pot... I'll be switching to organic soon, particularly PBP.
