G13 Poison Dwarf

Hey guys, as i was growing this, i had trouble finding pics of other peoples grow with this strain. Here it is, not much to say.

Grown under a 150w hps, FFOF, 2 gallon bag.

My questions are:
1. how long do you think till shes ready? (No magnifying glass)
2. What would you guess for dry weight?

Yes, i know these questions are very broad and it all depends on strain and environment, but from experience, if it was a raffle and you had to guess, what would you pick? Let me know.

Is that a phone-pic? Kinda blurry. Anywho... you don't say how old they are.. but if I had to guess it looks like at least day 50... if so another 10-15 days depending on how you want the trichs.

I'd guess... 12-14 grams dry, give or take.

Thanks man, not really sure how old it is, didnt really look at it much at first, this was a runner up of one that turned male on me, so i wasnt really focusing all my attention on this until i saw the pretty flowers :).

Yah, camera phone sucks, dont have anything else right now, sorry. If i can get a cam i'll upload some more pics tomorrow or so.

any more opinions/questions greatly appreciated.

There's a thread about it a few pages back.

I should have 7 or so all outdoor finishing up in about 15 days as well. I'll take some pics and we can compare weights, smoke reports.

Thats alot of smoke for one little plant.
I'd say give her 2 more weeks ? Just to give her time to develop the more valuable oils that usually come out in the last week or two.
Doesnt look like theres any more space for more budding tho, but u never know.
Again, thats already quite a bit for such a little plant, good job.
Enjoy ur smoke :] I'd say cure her well before smoking.

btw: looks like this one is gonna nail you to the chair.

looks good m8, did you grow only the one under that hps? You're homebox XS is just a bit smaller than my dr80, so I know you could put at least 6 3gal pots in there. Next run, go all the way man!

One thing I did was to put a table in mine, saves my back a lot of grief for short plants. On the other hand, I wouldn't mind bending over to pick up a 5ft'r...

I look forward to a smoke report in a month or so

Thanks for the response, yah its all grown under that one 150w. i'll try to get some pics of my whole cab for you soon. I am thinking about adding a couple cfls for side light, but havent gotten to it, and dont have much need for it right now. I was thinking maybe do the square pots, and cram a good amount in there like you said.

I'm loving the CFLs for veg & cloning, but I think I'm going to hookup some HIDs for when I begin flowering. As you can tell, you get awesome results without too much hassle. Square pots are good, I'm in the process of transitioning over to all square as well.

The thing with that is, my lighting. i do not think i could get enough light for all the plants if i went this route, and on the other hand, cannot add more HID light because i would not be able to keep the temperatures down.

I feel you on the temp issue, the best thing I've found is to keep your airflow going. If you water regularly and feed according to schedule, you don't have to worry too much about temps that stay below 95-100F. MJ can take up to 125F for some strains. I built a duct & PC fan setup that keeps everything nice, I'll try and show you what I did if you'd like.

What I figure is, you want to get as much plant under your light as possible. So if your 150 gives you a solid 4sqFt of light, get as many plants in the tent as you can handle. I don't think it would push your temps up any more. Another thing you can try is a perpetual SOG, like Dr.BudGreenGenes . My friend has done something similar and its pretty amazing to see a stick of bud poking out of 20oz soda bottles. But then again, you live in NY, where the police are like the Los Zetas. You might want to keep your plant count down.

i had a 4ft mom, but had to cut her cause she was taking up too much room, and now i just have some clones of her that i am going to flower soon. so i am working with the one dwarf thats finishing up, ~8 clones, 1 lemon skunk mom thats lst'd that i am going to flower and 1 small vegging plant that i started from seed.

Ah! very nice indeed! that should be one heck of a run. Have you grown these strains out before? Mixing plants can be fun (and rewarding!) but you can run into over/under feeding and height issues.

Either way, keep up the good work! Maybe when I come home to visit my moms for thanksgiving we'll do a trade :) Don't often get out to Lunk Island, but I hear there's a train :)

Blackmagic - no its a grow bag

DarkLance - Yah i had 2 moms but in the end i couldnt find a seperate veg room so i had to kill the one that got too big (it was a bagseed mexi mom) which i now have about 8 clones of. This plant does alot better under all conditions especially heat than my lemon skunk from GHS. It is almost like the mexican brick LOVES the hot temp (90+), as she thrives in it. Must be because she is from mexico after all!

Now i am unsure if i want to kill the lemon skunk, as it takes up alot of room as well (currently LST'd). I am deciding between just letting the clones veg a bit and take up the whole room and killing the lemon skunk, or letting the lemon skunk run along side it. the problem with this is, if the lemon skunk starts to stretch and take over....

if my clones are lookin big and healthy, i will probably kill the lemon skunk, but who knows, we shalll see. let me know what you think, ill get a pic later tonight or tomorrow so you can see how big everything is and so on.

most of the top leaves have turned brown, fallen off and died on mine. is this normal during flowering? its basically one big nug with some leaves on the bottom now.

jengi: I'll go take a look at the outdoor PDs as I think they are getting pretty close. How many weeks along are you?

sorry mate, I've not been online recently. Well...

I'd always be a proponent of keeping as many strains as possible. As a grower, you are the "method of action" for natural selection. By killing off a seedling, you are banishing that particular phenotype from this world. Sooooo.... you're better off flowering out something you're unsure of, you never know.

Like that bag seed you got. It could be f'n dank. I'll update this witha pic I've got of some bag seed I found.

Now, this is Bag Seed! We found a seed in a 'zip of Green Crack we got. Germ'd it and 15 days later, this is what we're looking at:

Hell, the ever-so-pervasive 'dawg' strains we are seeing these days are supposedly bag seed from a 'Dead concert....

but I digress, we are speaking about practicalities and present matters. Given the limited space of a tent, I would offer that a common genetic basis would be your asset in such a limited scenario.

Maybe you would keep a clone of your lemon skunk, which could be mothered outdoors with little chance of detection.

About leaves might die if you are flushing as you should be before harvest. This is the plant telling you that the soil is devoid of nutrients and it is using all of its reserves for the final push. Dry slowly and cure well and you will have some very nice smoke.

OR.... is this mold? pics please :)

i planted 10 seeds 5 were female and one had a snapped stem and died, after i had dryed out, i was left with 12g and thats from both plants, has a fruity smell to it i guess kinda like solero ice lollies :D, dont expect high yeild maybe more with a 150w hps but if you get a Q per plant your doing very well, there are far better autoflowering strains on the market like the AK Ryder which is sick, im currently growing a TSS and 3 more poisons, might keep a journal if anyones interested?
