hey H3ad (or ms. G) ... is there any way, timewise, that some of your G13-Diesel could have made it to any coffeeshops by now?

i ask because a few weeks ago the Dampkring was serving G13-Diesel, and i haven't heard of anyone else breeding this cross. either way, it was strong pot, and one of the most uniqe taste/smells i've encountered. just curious...

It is very strong and has a very unique aroma....

GH you take beautiful pictures my friend! What model camera do you have? That sure is a picture perfect looking plant, healthy as all get up!

I put up a thread with my nycd x g13 adies a while back, but the pics were with the light on, mylar reflections, horrible to say the least. Sorry...

The girls are at 7 weeks flower now. I have two phenos, one looks a tad more stout than the other and has two nice tops like it was FIM'd.

They really started packing on the sugar in the past 2 weeks. They're definitely something special from the looks/smell of them. I can't wait to try them!

there's no way there was any haze in the g13 deez that i smoked. i wish i had a sample with me right now, but i feel confidant saying that it was g13 x sour diesel...

mainly cause i don't believe that g13haze x nycd could produce a more g13 dominant pheno. and if anything was dominant in the stuff i smoked it would be the g13... which makes a certain amount of sense, as that would probobly be a larger yielding pheno, better for commercial purposes... correct?

g13haze x nycd would have to have a more tangy/fruity smell/taste, while the stuff i smoked tasted more earthy and hashy with a subtle sour aftertaste. either way it was great.

if it was yours, than congrats. it was right there at the top of the menu. among the strains that were fetching the highest prices.

I have a question, do you harvest by trich colour (using a magnifyingglass or summit) or just by "the way she looks"?

So far I've gone by looks as I don't have a mag, not sure if I'm missing out on anything

Alex,
I go by several factors.... Calyx Swell, Pistil Color, and Trichome Appearance...
Looking through a scope, counting trichs imho is unneccessary...
If you have decent eyes, you can tell when the trichs begin to cloud up. They just begin to look different, whiter and a bit less sparkle...
The pistils changing color is a good indication of approaching ripeness...
And, a sensimelia plant, as it finishes will have calyx that begin to swell almost as though seeded. This Calyx swell is imho the best visual indicator for ripeness...
I don't really even date my plants anymore... when they get done, then they are done. I do date new plants from seed, to get an idea their flower time...

boy oh boy...those pics look very familiar.. lol
mine flowered 9 weeks i believe? and the cure i put on them
made them turn out super skunky! this strain is 1 of my favorites
3 hits and its "to the moon alice"! there worth 65 $ imho.i got 1/2 of a lb from 5 plants....awesome yeild with a topping or 2......no problems/defiecencies
if ph kept at optimum levels...they like the nutes...i feed mine every other week...flushed for a couple days.....

i got 3 phenos......
a lime green
a browner hash like pheno
a g13/ dom pheno that will scare you if smoke too much....
smells ranged from lemon/lighterfloid-to...turpinetine/sweet-to...thai/hash tasting lung banging madness...the more you cure...the better/skunkier they got....take your time drying your buds....you'll be very glad you did

sorry no pics...my puter crashed and lost them all...maybe HEAD has some from the old test/smoke report?....so...inmo g13/desiel is an overall stable
very good tasting/smelling strain that gets you beyond stoned!!!
excellent buy..easy to grow. hope this helps! gl and grow on!!
