Got what would look like zinc def only theres no interveinal chlorosis.

new growth in small, wrinkled, leaves appear ribbed - is that rosetting?
nodes are bunched...but no yellow between the veins...

what envoironment factors could be causing this? its freezing here at night and i did try 18/6 on them for a few nights but they are back on 24 and things aren't getting any worse...and humidity is almost nonexistant at the mo...does that makem bunch up?

Also, all my strains have been producing quite broad leaves compared to normal..whats that about/ connected?

can't do pictures (no camera) so real hope you guys know whats happening.

thanks

Here is a person who knows there vocab!

Sounds like a possible micronutrient problem you got pics? Ahh, ya cold to warm temps can cause growth to look just like a zinc problem; the colors will become lighter green and they are smaller; they show sorta like a neon green color.... is it doing this?

Pics would help out a ton.
In this situation you will not get your answer without pics and more grow info :(

We can only go by what you tell us and with the info you gave us we would never be able to pinpoint it.....

You have not given us enough grow info like nutrients how much how often; if your growing in soil/hydro?

Lighting wattage and how close.......
pH, PPMS......
temps at night and day.
freezing is not a temp except very cold....

It has to be temps or humidity as Ive been doing things the same way with the same stuff for ages. The only news is that it was as low as -6 c at night here so my temp differential has been increased. The humidity has been extra low this winter also so these were the only factors i mentioned.
You describe the problem I'm seeing pretty well so I think it will clear up now they are on 24 and stable temps.

Ive never had low humidity (10 % r/h) so can't eliminate that either realy unless someone knows...

Thanks stitch

Ya, low humidity will cause newer growths to disform; not always but it does happen; sounds like to me it has more to do with the temps not stable and partial low humidity.

Keeping the temps more stable will fix the problem; though the affected leaves; I am, not sure what happens. I think they get their green back to them if they are fixed in time.

Is any of the leaves partially cupping upwards?

No cupping (same as praying? ) but all green this morning, pretty lush realy. The furrowing seems to have relaxed bit too.
I supose the twisted leaves will grow out...anyway, they are drinking up the res nicely so I think all will be well.
Thanks for the info/confirming, and on xmas day aswell! Thanks man and happy holidays

If they are drinking well it's probably not the temps. I'd look toward the humidity and maybe the use of hormones. Did you use any hormone products lately?
If not, probably just the humidity.
