Well, plants like carbs. I wouldn't have used something like this, but, hey, A+ for creativity.

I mean, things like Bud Candy and other boosters are filled with carbs because plants need them for growing. Actually, all living things need sugar to grow. There's a little bit of biology behind it, but I won't give anyone a biology lesson right now. It's a little dusty anyway, my college edumacation.

My only thing is that I have NO IDEA why you added yeast. That seems like you're making bread, not growing MJ. LOL

Seriously, use MJ nutes - like those from Advanced Nutrients. They're designed to help you grow some great plants. Stay out of the kitchen, man, for your growing supplies.

Sounds like you put a bowl of yeast, sugar, and water in the room to generate CO2? Not fed to the plants, correct?

Reaching for the sky means happy plants, as far as I know. Unless the leaves are tacoing, or these are seedlings stretching for light...

Sounds like happy plants.

He created C02 is what I think he is saying. If thats the case I have used the same "cheapo" method late in flowering to save money cause I cannot afford a C02 regulator and system right now and have seen similar effects on the plants depending on strain. A little more infor on your system/style of growing, strains, nutrients used, and some pics would really help pin this down.

yes i'm using it for CO2 :) the plants in question are in an autopot fed lucas formular 400w hps about 16 inch away. Temps are a bit high at 79-83. It had a little mag def but when i added the co2 i also added 1/4 tsp of epsom salt to the res so thats sorted. Erm yea so the plant is still reaching up lovely green leaves and the bud at the top is fatter than i'm used to seeing so early.

They look pretty good to me. I can notice that "Reach" youre talking about and the Mag deficiency near the middle of the plant. That what I was talking about some of mine have done before but I have never seen any bad effects from it. And I usually run all my grows at 75-82 degrees.
