Fungus while making seeds

I hope this is a good spot for this.

We've had lots of rain as usual this fall. I've had to move potted plants in to the garage to finish (not unusual.) I've got one small Nepal Jam that has been pollinated and is loaded with seeds.

I just cut off a portion of a branch due to fungus on that branch. Is there any danger to keeping seeds from a top flower on said branch? The flower itself shows no sign of infection. Signs of infection were only on the bottom of the branch far from the flower. Some leaves on the branch were however beginning to die off.

Thank you for any knowledge on the subject.

Here is the sweet little Nepal Jam about a week ago. The top bud in the bottom right is on the branch in question.

*Edit - Adding a picture after a potion of the branch has been removed bottom right.

Keep them separate from the rest of your seeds and give them a rinse in H2O2 when you germinate them

Thank you for the suggestion Dr.

At this point my plan is to keep them separate and possibly discard them when I harvest the rest of the seeds. I'll keep them for now as insurance but I'm fairly confidant I'll have plenty of seeds from the rest of the plant. Thanks again.

Maybe clean them from all plant matter and soak them in 1% hydrogen peroxide for a minute.
Then dry them real good before storing them separate from other seeds as mentioned above.
