fungus gnats

these fuckers showed up and are dying around my plants all over the tray and i dont know what i should do...ive searched the soil for larvae and havent seen anything...this is the 2nd day ive spotted them...advice please?

What was the establishing technique? (seed or clone?) seed
What is the age of your plants? little over a month
How long have they been in the soil mixture they are in now? since seedlings
How Tall are the plants? 7 in
What PHASE (seedling, vegetative or flower) are the plants in? vegetative
What Technique are you using? (SOG, SCROG etc) (idk?)
What size pots are you using? (Include how many subjects to pot)
What substrate/medium are you using? What brand of soil mixture are you using? (percentage of perlite, vermiculite...etc?) 1/2 light warrior 1/2 ocean forest
What Nutrient's are you using? just water right now
How much of each nutrient are you using with how much water? *Knowing the brand is very helpful*
How often are you feeding?
If flowering, when did you switch over to using Bloom nutrients?
What order are you mixing your nutrients? (example: veg nutes 1st, bloom 2nd ect)
What is the TDS/EC/PPM of your nutrients used?
What is the pH of the "RUN-OFF"?
What method of pH test was administered? Using Strips? pH pen?
How often are you watering? every other day 80 ml last feed (during transplant) 100 ml next water
Is the fan blowing directly at plants? slightly above
Is the grow substrate constantly wet or moist? no
Is your water HARD or SOFT? idk
What water are you using? Reverse Osmosis (RO)? Tap? Bottled? Well water? Distilled? Mineral Water? reverse osmosis
Have any pest chemicals been used? If so what and when? none
Are plant's infected with pest's? i believe fungus gnats

search this forum for """" get ready.... "Fungus Gnat" Thats right, its hard to believe... but other people have already made many threads about this.. with many answers already provided.

not to sound too sarcastic, but there really are alot of good threads on this.

sticky traps for flies, soil soaks for the eggs/ larvae
both or none.

fungus gnats:

for trap , cidar vinegar or sticky paper
gnatrol or mosquito dunks
top covering of sand / perlite or DE or neem seed meal, or drying out top layer of soil
nematodes


get the mofo's quick, as they eat your root hair / roots

try "nilnat" i think its only available in europe though. but its made in canada.

i have'nt tried it yet but its the new sh#t on the block if you know what i mean.

i would do the perlite soil topping, cant go wrong with that. dry those fuckers right out
